They are a really friendly and professional team. Highly recommend

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

This is the perfect area location wise, with a DLR station around the corner and shops a stones throw away. The harbour is lovely to walk around and the area is very safe.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew about the building work going on, however the properties are sound proof and you can hardly hear anything

What is the best feature of your home:

I love the furniture in the property and the kitchen and appliances are great and brand new!

Manager Response

Hi Laura Jane, what a lovely review. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this review! Really thrilled to hear the team responded fast to your issue and glad you like our furniture and kitchen appliances. I will be sure to share with the team at Sailmakers.

4 years at FizzyPoplar

I’ve been a resident at FizzyPoplar for four years now, moving here with my dog Pickles in 2016. That was one of the initial draws to Fizzy Living – it’s pet friendly. Additionally my apartment has a large terrace and there a large park opposite the block.

The second draw was the great transport links. On the DLR, I can get to Bank in 20/30 minutes from the nearby Westferry station. Same for Tower Gateway. If I fancy a trip up to Stratford, a train from Langdon Park gets me there in a similar time. Also it’s only a 15 minute walk to Canary Wharf for the Jubilee line (and Elizabeth line, when it opens).

Being so close to Canary Wharf brings those benefits: there’s plenty of bars, restaurants and cinemas nearby. There’s an on-site gym for residents.

The flat itself it’s great. Spacious and a good layout for sharing with a flatmate. Fizzy Living have been very accommodating for a switchover when the time came for my previous flatmate to move on, being very flexible, allowing things to move as we needed.

Fizzy Living have always responded to repair requests or other issues promptly. They’re my first London landlord and they’ve set the bar… I don’t think I’ll move on until I’m ready to buy.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great transport links
Close Canary Wharf with all its restaurants, bars, shops and cinemas.

Pet rent!
I’ve only ever had one dispute since moving into the property and that was the the expectation of pent rent – it’s £50/month for my dog. I’m still not really convinced it’s anything other than pure profit for the landlord, but in the grand scheme it’s not that big of a deal (and it seems all pet friendly landlords in london charge it too!)

What is the best feature of your home:

Definitely the terrace. It’s huge and during the summer becomes an extended part of the living room – cocktails in the sun 🙂

Luxury Living in the heart of Harrow!

Bradstowe House offers upscale living in the heart of Harrow with large open spaced apartments and great amenities like the residents lounge and private gym. The staff is always helpful and ready to answer any questions regardless of how small the issue. The apartments are large, have great appliances and are furnished with beautiful neutral tones for you to personalise however you like. In comparison to other properties in the area, this is by far the best value for money and space you will find.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The apartment block is a mere 5 minute walk to a major bus and train station (Harrow on the Hill) with great links to all parts of London. There are two shopping centres across the road and a large Morrisons on the other side of the property for all those last minute or late night shopping trips. Local restaurants and shops are within a 5 minute walk and the area is always a buzz with activity. For those keen on health and fitness, there is a massive gym at the bottom of the building as well as easily accessible beautiful parks in the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The apartments have windows that don’t really open much which makes it quite stuffy in the summer. The building offers free portable aircons for this period to combat this issue. However, I would definitely prefer windows that open properly.

Staff is at service at all times, which makes you feel exclusive.

We are a family of four who were accustomed to living in a detached house with a spacious garden in our home country, Turkey. Considering the disadvantages of living in such a house with a high maintenance cost, struggling with vermin and pests and vulnerability, we decided to live in a flat here in Sutton when we moved to England. Before moving, we meticulously researched places where school offsted scores should be high and where crime rates should be low. Sutton came out from many resources.
Of the various alternatives around the area, No 16 Sutton Plaza seemingly has the greatest number of amenities in every respect as public, natural, safety and so on. This alone is enough to decide to move in. Over and above, you will see more inside. Staff is at service at all times, which makes you feel exclusive. Perfect sound insulation, adequate ventilation system and fabulous panoramic London skyline which, of course, is eligible for my apartment, Flat ## and the flats above us, are all the valuable assets of this development.
Nowadays we all feel tense, nervous and strained isolating ourselves during this lockdown. Under such adverse conditions having all negative feelings, you open the door and find three packets of quality teas on the threshold with a letter on saying good appetite. These people in the administration know how to make residents smile. We thank you very much for your generosity and efforts to make the residents join activities online to stay relaxed and well.
As for the cons, rental for a flat with two rooms is as high as a house with four rooms around the immediate area. It was much cheaper when we moved in June. House rentals in the area appear to have decreased.

Cordially yours
Mehmet Ozaksu

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I should have learned whether the flat is eligible for homeoffice. Window cleaning twice a year is not enough for flats with huge windows.

What is the best feature of your home:

Day and night panoramic London skyline view seen from my flat makes me relaxed. Window frames are big enough to provide such a view.

So much better than renting from previous landlords. I feel safe in the knowledge that Fizzy won’t mess me around or do anything unpredictable – and always do their best to help us with any issues we have such as repairs, looking out for parcels or answering questions.

Fizzy Canning Town is a nice place to live – I’ve been in the building for around three years now. I’ve lived in two different flats and they’ve both been finished to a high standard – none of the usual issues you might get in a London rental such as mould, damp or mice! Customer service is brilliant – our Bob, Serina is great as were our previous Bobs Daniel and Bilal. We’re allowed pets, parcels are received while we’re out at work and repairs are done very swiftly. We also receive an annual flat clean. We’ve stayed this long because we like it so much. Only thing I miss is an active Facebook forum for the building, but there is still a sense of community as many people have been here a while and we also chat to Serina.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great location for the underground and DLR – only a few minutes away. Not so great at the moment for local cafes but it’s improving and it’s so easy to jump on the tube. Really hoping for more supermarkets at some point and a new retail development is coming.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known more about the angle of the sun as our balcony doesn’t get much sun at the moment. But it is also worth considering that in summer it can get pretty hot as the flats are very well insulated (great for winter!). Worth getting a fan / some sort of air con machine if you can especially if you are on higher floors.
