Disappointing

There is a lot of cars which park on the entrance to the estate at night, people hanging around. Always a lot of litter left on the floor, this also comes from people who work at the business park.
The location in relation to shops etc is good.

Please review your development:

Property management, especially customer service is shocking.
When reported, nothing is fixed.
People say they will turn up when they don’t.
The same problem keeps occurring.
The up keep of the estate is very off putting.
Overall, very disappointing.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If we had known the problems we have had and still have, we probably wouldn’t have bought a Northstone house.

What is the best feature of your home:

The number of bathrooms are helpful with a family.

Barrowford is a fantastic close knit village with lots of high end bars, traditional pubs and excellent restaurants and cafe’s.
There is a large park which is excellent for dog walking and having fun with the kids. The river is great to splash in during summer.
There are lots of events ran throughout the year, especially in summer.

Please review your development:

The design of the Keld development is one of the major factors we took into account when buying our new home. We love the location, the layout and the general aesthetic.
The only negative I have is the amount of snags due to poor workmanship and the length of time it has taken to resolve the snag issues.
The site management seem more bothered focusing on building more houses than making sure the issues in the houses that have already been built are dealt with swiftly and efficiently.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the promises made about how quickly snags and other issues would be resolved was a lie. We still have snags outstanding that were reported before we moved in 8months ago

What is the best feature of your home:

South facing garden with fantastic view. Spacious rooms

Keld development is ina great location for local motorways and amenities. Barrowford is a vibrant community with shops bars and restaurants. A Michelin star eatery is minutes away too!

Please review your development:

The open plan design of the house is lovely the flow works really well with lots of storage and the lootility room is genius!
The high ceilings and tall windows make for really light and airy rooms.
The few snags I had were all dealt with quickly.
Overall a lovely place to live

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I didn’t appreciate the length of time it takes to get the house handed over

What is the best feature of your home:

I love the open plan layout downstairs along with the great storage solutions

The design of the estate is lovely

There are plenty of local shops in Barrowford, as well as local restaurants and bars. You’re in the centre to travel further afield such as Ribble Valley, Colne and Burnley.
It was very close to Pendle Hill also.
The estate is tucked away off the bi-pass and far enough out of town that no one enters the estate unless they live here so there’s no ASB or traffic.

Please review your development:

The design of the estate is lovely and the Scandinavian houses all look very nice. The estate is till in the early phases of being built so no comment can be made to the facilities, building management or property management yet. The estate remains relatively clean.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how much settling a new build house has to do as I am constantly finding cracks! However, the developers always come back and fix them for me.

What is the best feature of your home:

I love the open plan kitchen into living as this is central to the house and the face that I have both a bath and stand alone shower. The lootility is also a nice touch!
