Not very good for renting

The building is nice overall but it’s poorly made, the door jams, the fence is falling apart and rotting and not even attached securely and the shower hasn’t stop leaking since we moved in and it’s still not been seen to, despite multiple complaints.

The good aspect is that it’s generally a really nice area, however the houses that are rented have had multiple cases of anti-social behaviour which have been left unattended to by Jones homes

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The personal references for moving in do nothing, there are still awful people that move in and nothing will be done about it

Great place, minimal inadequate aspects

The design of the properties are adequate although the walls are very thin on to neighbouring properties creating alot of noise. We do not know how to use the security system, as setup wasn't included in the startup guide. Property management are fast and responsive to calls for help. Overall 4/5

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is excellent since it is near poulton Town centre. However, there numerous sweeper trucks coming down the road and they are sometimes very noisy. Overall great though.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Idea about the sites development to help us plan for the future, such as I'd the road was being filled we could plan ahead.

Love the design of the house There was some flooding risks but all been sorted now and Hopefully is kept clean and I think the only problem with the house would be with how thin the walls are I have a toddler so have to try keep him quite going up and down the stairs

Pros - not in busy area so don’t have to worry about kids near main road Con- not many public transportation as you do need to drive in the area to get to places

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes when I moved in I had a problem with the patio doors and someone came to fix them straight away

Had problem with gas and electric meters first couple of months but sorted now

Jones homes development is very well thought out with a nice designs of each of the property’s They seem to have a plan in place to look after the communal areas and seem to manage the site well. The walking areas are well thought out and it will look lovely when the development will be finished

Brilliant for all round train station 10 minute walk shops a 5 minute walk and pubs bars restaurants a 10 minute walk Bin collections good and quiet at night

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No issues at all and all snags sorted out within a few weeks

Try and bargain for everything would be my top remember they need you as much as you need them

A great location for first time buyers

The houses are nicely designed, and are spaced out very nicely - sometimes new build estates are extremely cramped but ours isn't. Building management is good, anything that we have required has been dealt with in a timely manner. There is a lot of "wild grass" areas that really could do with more maintenance, such as around ponds and along walkways, but more is to be said on this topic.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The estate is away from the main road, quiet and comfortable. Local amenities such as Lidl and other businesses on Poulton industrial estate are really handy - like the vets and the gym. Poulton has a fantastic selection of bars and restaurants and we're always looking to eat out.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any snags or concerns were dealt with immediately. We had an issue whereby our loft hatch was in the wrong place in the spare room, and thus couldn't accommodate fitted wardrobes. Movement of the hatch was organised and was completed in a few hours to a very high standard.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We'd have liked to have known that maintenance on the landscape isn't going to be started until a later stage (I think once the adjoining Persimmon development is finished).
