In Lydney we have two good size supermarkets a Tesco and Lidl. There are plenty of pubs and takeaways to choose from. Lyndey is in good proximity to Gloucester and Bristol.

Please review your development:

The design of the development has been done well. I am on a semi attached plot with a good area of green space out the front.

Improvement would have been when they put down the bark at the front of the home they should have put a mesh down before hand to prevent weeds coming up. Also the back car park has allocated spaces, bit these are not identified/numbered. This makes it difficult for anyone visiting know where they should park.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

This is a difficult one because we moved in during pandemic. Probably make sure they have not rushed the finish of property.

What is the best feature of your home:

For a two bedroom home it a cozy property, which has been suitable for a couple.

Wonderful place to live

Town is a 15 minute walk away, plenty of shops and cafes, lots of parks suitable for a wide range of ages close by, beautiful lake 10 minutes walk away. Train station is a 20 minute walk, and nearest bus stop is in the town with direct links to the city of Gloucester. The street we live on is quiet, neighbours are friendly and there’s no anti social behaviour.

Please review your development:

The design of our home itself is wonderful, except I would enjoy more storage space. We have a park suitable for a wide range of children directly around the corner from our house which is wonderful. Any problems we have had have been rectified promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The house is brilliant at retaining heat. Yes it means it’s quite warm in the summer, but in the winter it keeps costs low as we only need to have the heating on for a couple hours a day.

What is the best feature of your home:

The size of the rooms are perfect for a family, there’s plenty of room for lots of toys without feeling cramped or messy.

The local area is fantastic for all ages! Great park, walks, train station near by and beautiful surroundings

Please review your development:

There are very little facilities on this development. Hard to get in contact with anyone once you have moved in and they show very little interest in any of your concerns. We were rushed in to our home and have had a change in site manger 3 times in the past 2 years

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Make sure you get a snagger in to check everything! And get it all done asap! Otherwise you will have a fight to get anything done

What is the best feature of your home:

Good size bedrooms, kitchen and garden for a new build home

Excellent development, the plot we purchased is great as end of terrace, quiet development with great links to the other cities
The only gripe is that the water drainage way that people use this as a short cut to the main road because they are to lazy to walk around the development

Please review your development:

Brilliant two bed house with three toilets and well built, airy bright well decorated, large enough garden for us to maintain
Parking is adequate with on bay for family or friends
Bright development with sufficient street lighting
Yes very pleased with our plot and the development

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing bad, the problems we had was rectified with the developers quickly

What is the best feature of your home:

The three toilets, the rooms are large enough for king size beds and kitchen dinner is large for a family of three
