Why Verification Matters

When you’re choosing a place to live, you want reviews you can trust. So do we. That’s why we verify reviews—to help ensure the feedback you read is based on real resident experiences.

What Does “Verified” Mean?

It means we’ve confirmed the reviewer actually lives (or lived) in the development they’re reviewing. Verified reviews give you confidence that what you’re reading is genuine.

How the Process Works

Step 1: Automatic check

When you submit a review, we securely check your name and address against public records. If it matches, you’re verified instantly.

Step 2: Backup checks if needed

If the system can’t confirm (for example, you’ve just moved in), we’ll email you a link with two easy options:

  • One-time location share: 

    Confirm you’re at the development.

  • Photo proof: 

    Upload a quick snap or scan of a utility bill or ID.


  • Most people complete this in minutes—and it’s completely free.

What About Privacy?

Your personal details never appear on the site. We only use them to confirm your residency, and anything you upload is deleted once checked. We never store your documents.
