The site is situated on the Isle of Dogs close to the River Thames, and less than a 10-minute walk from the heart of Canary Wharf. In addition, transport links come courtesy of nearby South Quay DLR and Canary Wharf’s DLR and Underground services. Residents enjoy fast and frequent connections to the likes of Bank and Monument.

The building is superbly designed, both stunning and functional. There are many great amenities, but the best by far is the gym on the 34th floor, giving a full birds eye view of the area. The best part of living here is the staff, they are incredibly helpful and friendly, making it a true pleasure to live here.

They have a really quick turnaround with all queries and are really approachable.
Great place to live and work remotely!
Apartments are very well maintained with high-quality amenities. Well-isolated and silent inside. Heating and cooling work well. A wide variety of facilities is available (gym, spinning studio, conference rooms to name a few).
The reception/management team (Abigail, Joanna, Marcin, Taher, and others) is extremely friendly, helpful, and professional at the same time. They’re great communicators and are responding quickly and efficiently to all our inquiries. The same applies to maintenance. After moving in, we created a ticket to check the heating system. One hour later, one of the maintenance team members (Dean Joao) came to our apartment, performed the maintenance, and advised us on how to best use it in a very friendly manner.

Clean and safe area with lots of restaurants and bars within 5mins walk. DLR (3mins walk) and Jubilee line (5mins walk) are nearby making this place well connected with central London.

Great building for working remotely. Bedrooms are spacious enough to convert into a home office. Plenty of space in the common areas to work as well with high-speed wifi and electricity sockets.
The gym on the 34th floor is really well-equipped and has amazing views over London, especially in the evening hours!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very quickly and promptly. The reception and maintenance teams are very kind, experienced, and professional.

It started off ok, but soon went downhill. Avoid this development, cheaper and more professional places out there.
Whilst the building itself is good, there are significant drawbacks that aren’t apparent.
The carpets in the lift lobby of each floor are never cleaned or vacuumed. I had to report vomit on the floor after it hadn’t been cleaned up in 3 days. Even when someone did come up, they did a poor job of cleaning the area.
The building didn’t mention anything about charging for using some of the amenities now that COVID was over. Instead, they thought it was appropriate to notify tenants 6 days after they started charging.
Security is a joke, a bloke sits on Reception watching films on his phone all day, doesn’t walk the building, and doesn’t protect residents from incidents. Anyone can just walk in and gain access to the upper floors without any problems.
I had a theft of a parcel recently and was told that it was my problem, and to log a Police report.
They refused to log an internal incident report for the event.
Being told that amenities are only available from 9am until 10pm, instead of the 24 hours they quote on the website.

Good proximity to South Quay DLR station, making it useful to get into The City (30 minutes or less).
Parking is terrible in the area, most on-street parking is full.
Sometimes noisy exterior – not the plush Canary Wharf development you think it is.

In a nutshell, if Sailmakers can get out of their obligation to do anything, they will.
They are 100% there to make Greystar money, and not to retain decent tenants.
You are just a number to these people, they fail to realise that this is a place to live and not a business for tenants.
I would 100% avoid this development, while it looks fancy from the outside, if you scratch the surface, you will find many failures and crap management.
You will find a cheaper and better quality place elsewhere.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management, when they can be bothered to respond, fail to respond with anything meaningful or constructive.
I had logged maintenance requests that went unanswered, with them being closed off with no action taken.
High quality rental apartment
There are residential gym, lounges, cinema room, dining room, conference rooms in the two buildings managed by sailmakers. The staff here is extremely friendly and responsive.
Underground parking space (paid separately), including bike storage (free).
In the windy days, sometimes you could hear the wind howling, which isn’t great.

Situated right next to the South Quay DLR station. 10 minutes walk from Jubilee mall and Canary Wharf proper.
Traffic noise is minimal but sometimes you can hear it (DLR, and some speeding cars).
Depending on the neighbours, there could be noises (anti-social behaviours) since the area is extremely built-up.

The residents in these buildings are very much mixed. There are students, professionals and what not.

The management team has been very responsive and helpful in dealing with a complaint we had
Attentive and diligent maintenance team. Nice building although becoming very expensive
Sirocco tower is a nice new building with good facilities. The furniture is good and in very good condition.I am missing a swimming pool though.
The staff is very nice. I dealt with Dean Joao on 28.01.22 about a maintenance issue with my microwave and he was very kind, diligent and attentive

Great central location that is undergoing constant development. The prices are however increasing dramatically, which is one of the reasons why value for money is not so great

Yes, the maintenance team has been diligent and responsive every time that has been needed. Dean Joao attended our premises on 28.01.22 and was kind and effective
Great apartment with good service
It’s new and elegantly designed apartment, beautiful view as well.
Kitchen is fully furnished with modern facilities that make my days easy. The maintenance team is very helpful, anything in the apartment need repaired, just email and you can count on the team.

When the closet door need needed to be fixed, the maintenance team member Mr. Joao respond quickly and get the job done with details attended.
a service team truly cares
We are able to rely on Mr.Shakshouk’s excellent assistance ever since first day moved in, when WIFI down,he immediately called broadband service provider.Then set up the smart TV for watch YouTube and Netflix which wasn’t easy and isn’t in his job description.

Great Maintenance in Sirocco Tower, Dean João did the job?
The services are good, 2 receptions, 24 hours guard, 3 elevators. Got floor heating, pet friendly is the main point, as I have a 4yr old dog with me. And they even have dry cleaning! Not too far from the metro, 5min walk to the Canary Whalf station, and other shopping malls, banks, waitrose, etc.

Dean João did a great job, very patient, teach me how to use the system, good service. Sirocco tower is the building, great!

Excellent living at Sirocco Tower
I loved it, everything looks very new. I like the furniture and design itself, everything looks good. I would appraciate if additional services such Cinema would be free of charge, that was a bit disappointing aa I am student. And I just wish it could have a pool, that would make the development 10/10.

Great place to live
Great development and friendly staff. The maintenance team is amazing. They have a friendly word and solution any time you run into them. Dean is especially helpful and fast, and there is nothing that this team cannot fix. Thank you for making our life so comfortable at Sailmakers, Dean.

The area combines the best of all aspects of living: lots of green spaces to recharge, city life with ample shopping and dining opportunities, and quiet and picturesque corners for a long walk.
