Tower Hamlets is a great place to live in. Some areas of the borough aren’t the cleanest or the quietest, but the people are great. You’ll find all kinds of food here. I dogsit regularly and have made lots of friends with people nearby.

Please review your development:

It’s not the cheapest but well worth the price we pay. The management takes care of any maintenance issues and is always there to help. One thing I really appreciate is that the entire building runs on renewable energy. The events are also really nice!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The street outside is busier than I thought it would be. But then again we are on the first floor so I think it gets better on the higher floors.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly and empathetically. They never make you feel at fault for anything that happens.

Fantastic range of shops, large sainsbury’s nearby and access to transport links is top notch. Victoria park is also only 5-10min walk away for big green open space.

Please review your development:

The development is great, the team really take care of everything in case anything goes wrong. Facilities include a gym, rooftop, communal lounge and work spaces so there’s a lot to enioy. The spaces are also very well maintained and the building is kept in great condition.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I had know about the events run by the management staff a little earlier, they’re great fun.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Anytime an issue is raised, a ticket is logged and the team treat the urgency with the proper care. We’ve never had to wait longer than a couple of days to have something taken care of.

Enjoying my time in East London

Overall, I really like the area. There’s a lot to do but I’m also more connected to green areas so having Mile End Park and Victoria Park nearby is a delight. In terms of nightlife is not the best but I actually prefer it that way. It usually means less anti-social behaviour and more quiet time. It’s very well connected due to being relatively close to Whitechapel and Stratford which are good connection hubs. I’ve been living here for almost 3 years now and probably the only downside for me in terms of the area is the bin collections which aren’t the most reliable.

Please review your development:

The building has a modern feel and everything seems well put together. When I compare there to the horror stories I hear about London’s rental market, I feel blessed. Emelie who basically runs the show on behalf of Fizzy is incredibly helpful. Always very communicative and caring. She has always ensured a solution is found to an issue even if these are things which aren’t technically on her side. In a way, this compensates for whenever we have to rely on L&Q to fix things. As far as I understood they run maintenance for whole block and are the most unreliable company I have ever seen. They delay or don’t show up to fix things most often than not. Basically, if something falls under Fizzy it will get sorted swiftly, if it’s L&Q…brace.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s a mosque being built right next to the building. It might scare you at first but I live on the third floor and work from home. It has never been an issue that couldn’t be solved by closing the windows. Apart from the scaffolding is less noisy than most pubs I’ve been to. However, I heard complaints from another tenant so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
The second thing is that I couldn’t return a piece of furniture. They furnish the place but if you want to not have a coffee table or an arm chair they can’t take it. It’s all or nothing. I must say I don’t recall if I learn about this just before move in or right after.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Emelie has always been quick to reply, transparent on who’s going to be fixing something and scheduling the work that needs to be done.

local shops, restaurants, bars & open spaces are good. Convenience and availability of transport links is good. No issues with parking availability, bin collections, anti-social behaviour & traffic noise

Please review your development:

Nice building, nice development, nice flats. Design, facilities, building management and property management are all very good. Everything works, everything is easy to use and it is a very quiet development. I would recommend living here to anyone without doubt.
