Sitting directly north of the East Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber has a history strongly connected to the steel, coal and farming industries. Although still a major player in the UK’s energy industry, the region is still adjusting to the move towards cleaner fuels and cheap steel imports. However, Leeds is a thriving finance and business hub, while Sheffield has enjoyed a strong resurgence in recent years as a centre for the creative arts and music. Grimsby is the centre of the UK’s fishing industry, with agriculture and food processing also providing a major source of income for the region.
Great place to live
The building is in a very convenient location, it only takes 10 minutes to walk into town but there is a lot of theft and drugs in the area
Please review your development:
There could be more done with thefts in the building, the management could reduce the time it takes for repairs to be made – I know the courtyard was closed for a number of weeks and living on the north side of the building it was inconvenient to walk around the building. The management are friendly, the building is quiet and in a good location – haven’t needed any repairs in the year that I have lived here as everything is of good quality.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I knew about the high levels of theft and drugs in the area
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I haven’t raised any problems with management as I haven’t had any issues since living here
