Love living at Leodis!

Close enough to town (10 minute walk) but also far enough out to feel separate which I like. Only thing I don’t particularly like is being close to Holbeck (which is somewhat rough) however that is no reflection on Dandara or Leodis. I love living here! It’s pretty peaceful and if there’s any construction, we’re always told ahead of time. Train station so close by too which is a huge bonus!

Please review your development:

Love the building itself, so grateful to have such a modern space, with a gym and small co-work space included. So beautifully designed and the apartments are great. Furnishings are modern. Building maintenance is great – there are a couple of times I’ve reported a problem or needed something checking and it’s been resolved within a day or two. Only thing I’d like to see is a bigger co-working space but what is here is sufficient and great.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking is very limited unless you pay for parking which is £125 a month.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Great as mentioned above! Really lovely building management team.

Has potential – currently failing

Good:
dog friendly
Nice people
Local shop and garden nearby
Local bars
Bad:
Parking (including the building’s)

Please review your development:

Modern, sound proof apartments however bin chutes blocked by idiotic judgment of residents. Property management is crazy, charge a bomb for an hour even if it’s to come fix a toilet seat. Good for dog owners however people who are afraid of dogs do live here so be prepared for some invalid moans from them

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Lack of gym- which has now been confirmed as q3 in 2024 (most likely will be delayed once again)
Poor planning (blocking off public access)
Good community within the building from original staff and events

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management only cares about themselves, there is one manager who residents try to avoid due to lack of helpfulness and friendliness. Reception have nearly had nearly a 100% turnover since they opened due to management. However original reception staff are lovely, especially to Matt and Polly. There is a lack of transparency with most of the reception staff and the residents, meaning that once reception staff have left the relationship between staff and residents is going to be a lack of. Management care more about missing cups and chairs rather than security breaches such as stolen bikes and failing to report to residents in an appropriate time. Management only looks out for themselves rather than the residents and the culture of the building.

Idyllic, vibey and refreshing place to enjoy the best of being close to the city with a feeling of calm.

Having just moved in to Mustard Wharf, we already feel very welcome and love the vibey atmosphere. The area is so refreshing, lovely lockside renovation with a mix of residents, dog friendly, canalside walks with plenty of green areas, super friendly 92 coffee house, restaurants and popular bars/breweries. The best of being close to the city centre yet feels open and relaxed, close to the train station without being too noisy and the calmness of being waterside – fabulous location.

Please review your development:

Mustard Wharf is an impressive development residentially and commercially. The clean cut design, overall quality and standard of living is refreshing and very well thought out for a wide variety of clientèle. Alliyah could not have been more welcoming from our first point of enquiry to moving in. Francesca showed us around several appartments and with the Mustard Wharf team, was so supportive dealing with our application efficiently and professionally to ensure the smoothest move in. Ongoing management is consistent and friendlly. We feel very comfortable, welcomed and enjoying the relaxing feel of living here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is a waiting list for parking, with alternatives suggested nearby in the interim

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Mustard Wharf Front of House have been very responsive to any questions on moving in.
So far I haven’t had any problems or issues raised.

Great place to live close to train station

I like that the apartment is so close to the train station because my university is a little further away so I can use the train daily and get there quickly.

Please review your development:

I enjoy the new library that has been put into place. It is very easy to do my work and study. I now exclusively use this space to do my work. I like the design of the apartment, the kitchen is very modern and the apartment is very spacious. Bailey who completed my mid term inspection helped with any issues I had.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I haven’t found anything that I wish I’d of known before moving into Mustard wharf

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven’t yet encountered any issues with maintenance. However, I like that someone is always on the reception in case I have any issues
