Box Makers Yard is a rental only development, managed by Urbanbubble. It offers a range of 1, 2 and 3-bed apartments on offer with a variety of furnished and unfurnished options. These come with courtyard or city views, extra storage and private balconies or terraces. In addition, there are a range of flexible tenancy lengths up to 5 years.  Additional facilities include a resident lounge with a games area, an air-conditioned gym with weekly fitness classes as well as a private rooftop dining suite with an outdoor terrace.

Box Makers Yard is only a 12-minute walk away from the city centre and is only moments away from Temple Meads Station, Castle Park and Hannah Moore Primary School. Temple Gardens, Kings Street and the Harbourside are also within walking distance.

Excellent staff team who are responsive, considerate and friendly.
The on-site gym is far superior to others in hotels/apartments.
The team really put a lot of effort into residents’ social events.
The place is clean, modern and has a premium feel.
The 24-hour concierge is also excellent.
The rent is expensive, but you get a lot for your money and I felt very much at home at BMY.

Amazing access to Temple Meads railway station with 5 minutes from apartment to platform.
Easy 10 minute walk to the city centre for pubs and restaurants is also excellent.
Lack of local convenience supermarket (e.g. Tesco Express) is slight drawback.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The roadworks went on outside the apartment block for my entire 6 month tenancy, which I wished I’d known was going to happen. However, these are now coming to an end, so shouldn’t affect future residents!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very promptly and efficiently. No issues with the service provided.

The design of the building is great, love the lay out of the flat and the roof top area, there’s so much space you can go and chill out. There’s plenty of things to do instead of staying inside the flat. There’s a gym and a common area and a pool table.

I think the area is good, not far walk away from the town centre, close to the river. I feel safe in the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A good thing that I didn’t know before moving in is how Welcome everyone is.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

One thing that could help the accommodation is maybe having visitors parking so when friends and family come to stay there’s somewhere that easy to park.

The apartments at Box Makers Yard are on average larger per sq ft compared to developments in the area to give you the extra space. It’s lovely to hear about the nice welcome you received, the team have been working very hard over the last 6 months with so many apartments moving in within such a short space of time. As it is a city centre location parking is limited, however there is 1 hr drop up bays near the property and Gardiner Haskins car park is only a few mins walk away. The development is great, the communal areas allow for socialising as well as giving you the perfect place to “escape” the flat. As someone who will be working from home I’m really looking forward to using the communal area. The interiors also create a really homely environment. Our favourite facility is the private dining rooms, having the option rent these out made box makers yard stand out from any other flat complex we saw. The flats are also very spacious with lots of storage! The process of moving into the flat was really great too, the in depth information we received from the building management made the move seamless and not too stressful. Overall we are so happy with Box Makers Yard, every one is so friendly.

We love how easy it is to get into town and the fact that the train station in only a 5 min walk away is great. The only downside is that there isn’t a local supermarket within a close walk. The nearest one McColls doesn’t sell anything fresh but with all the new flats and offices being built around I’m hoping a small Sainsbury’s or Tesco’s will pop up nearby!

We didn’t expect everyone to be as nice as they are – moving from a flat block in London we didn’t even know one other person in our building – we’ve been here for 2 weeks and we’ve already made lots of friends.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

To be able to have a local supermarket closer- there’s a very small Tesco express about 10 min walk away but one more local would be great!

The flats are very well built. Good size and a lot larger of what we would get for our money in London. Facilities within boxmakers are great. Communal area is nice, clean with lots of space. The gym downstairs has good equipment. The staff are all very helpful and friendly.

Location is slightly lacking although still has a few good selection of resultant on the doorstep. Noise is minimal although there is ongoing maintenance work. Transport is very good in our area

That we could have an even closer large supermarket eg Tesco etc

Yes they have. We had an issue with a vandalised car. This issue was resolved

Significant residence with professional features and comfy atmosphere

They have great developments with amazing shows ,organizations and events . Always trying to make something special in the apartment.

Always full up with security and a lovely person at the reception to help whenever needed.

They make sure that they reply back fast to my emails and problems.

I like the facilities they provide and they have a great support team if there is any issue in my flat. Great indoor club with lovely indoor games and quiet place for relaxation. Also impressed with residents gym and fantastic programmes like to watch the championship league of Football.

Amazing residence in Bristol !!!

The building is absolutely beautiful. The apartment is purpose built with plenty of attention to detail, particularly the storage elements.

The team are delightful and lead a friendly and kind community that makes this such a special place to live.

The building is located in a new neighborhood so benefits from being in a quiet location. It’s very close to the train station and a short walk to the center of town. However, because it’s such a new area the availability of locals shops is poor.

How far it is to walk to large shops.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

More local amenities. More parking would be great too.

Great clean gym with good availability and facilities, social and study areas.

Flats are great standard, bathroom and kitchen

Roof Terrace great views.

Really friendly members of staff.

However, I arrived and there’s no wardrobe rail which 2 weeks on still no change. Pricing is a little expensive given location isn’t in town centre.

The development is very nice, flats are to a great standard.

At the moment road works make during the day WFH a bit loud and it’s about 15 min walk to the town centre.

I don’t think there’s anything that is a massive shock

Some queries addressed within few days others outstanding for weeks.

On your viewing the lettings team would have mentioned a small few of the Studios don’t come have a wardrobe it’s let as it is, however we have fed this back to the Landlord at building handover and as an additional add on feature there is a rail being fitted which is being made and installed by the developers and the team will be in contact when we receive further information on delivery and install. The road works are just temporary and these are out of our control which should finish shortly. The building and apts are amazing! Modern facilities, great amenities and even more amazing front-office team!
Guys are here 24/7, always friendly with a huge smile on their faces, positive and polite, willing to help in any possible way!
For example, Mary was an extreme help with the initial viewings and she’s been very helpful with any question, concern, trouble ever since 😁
Oh one more thing, in-house maintenance always makes things simpler and easier!!!
Regarding the design though, it’s a bit pitty that everything looks so nice but in some cases can be very easily scratched or even damaged.☹️

Need a bit more time to explore local shops, bars and restaurants near by but transport links are amazing!
Parking, bin collection etc is not an issue at all as these are already covered by the buildings management company!
In general, I love it! 🙂

The only thing that troubles me was apts orientation. I would love a bit more sun in the office during working hours..

Building Mgmt was as proactive as possible and responsive, efficient and helpful whenever asked.

I would like to have chance to thank you about your warm welcome which I have seen it from the first day of my stay . It is really a great hospitality and respect for all your customers. You are the significant advantages which give me an enormous motivation to be happy at my work and absolutely at your posh apartment. I have to thanks deeply Mr Tomas from the Front of House team who is one of the best helper person I have seen in my life , he is a very respectful and thoughtful man with all customers, also other staff have been wonderful I will be always talk to my friend about how I am so lucky to be here . The location is very excellent, close to the train station and also a bit close to the center, parking is available in the building for a fee and there are also other parking options that you can ask the reception about.

Smart exterior with well designed and attractive interior. Great communal facilities including shared work space, roof terrace, gym and bike store. Property management is well run and efficient, with convenient online portal for information and requests.

Great location near main station, with access to harbourside and main shopping areas. Mixture of office development and residential in quiet, smart, open and bright area. Local shops, restaurants and bars are a 10-15 minute walk away.

The box makers yard is very well designed. There are nice open communal spaces and a great terrace. There are a lot of convenient features that optimise apartment living and the management has been in facilitating utilities and general local knowledge.

Right near the major train station and next to the river, but not many pubs or bars immediately near by – mostly a 10 minute walk away.

If you check our handy Residents Handbook on the residents portal you will find some helpful information on their about what to do, see and eat in the area.
