The neighborhood’s proximity to Temple Meads train station ensures easy access to transportation, connecting residents to various parts of the city. This accessibility is further complemented by the presence of Riverside walks, providing a scenic and relaxing retreat along the water.
The community cafes, including the delightful MOKO cafe, contribute to a friendly and sociable atmosphere, offering perfect spots to unwind and connect with neighbors. Additionally, the convenience of having Sainsbury’s within the building adds a significant advantage, making grocery shopping a quick and hassle-free experience.
One of the standout features of the neighborhood is the presence of awesome independent shops, adding character and diversity to the area’s retail landscape. This unique offering goes beyond the typical high street experience and is a testament to the vibrant and innovative spirit of Temple Quarter.

Sociable, excellent central location
I moved to Bristol alone in July 2021, and made many friends in Box Makers Yard. I use the gym several times per week, and socialised in communal areas and private dining rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Deliveries were easy and safe in parcel room. Building is fresh and new and never cold

A Fantastic Place to Live!
My wife and I have lived in BMY for two years and have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The development is new and superbly maintained, with plenty of fantastic services provided for the tenants, such as: rooftop terraces, an excellent gym and a brilliant co-working space.
The building management has always made an effort to make our stay here as comfortable as possible. Tenants are mostly left to their own devices, but the management is always on hand to help. In particular, Tomas and Vilius have gone above and beyond to help me with my requests in the past.
The proximity to the city centre and to Temple Meads ensures that BMY is situated in an excellent location. We’ve never had any trouble accessing any part of Bristol and we are within walking distance of our favourite parts of the city. The area is also undergoing a lot of development, so I think there will be a lot of exciting change in the next two years.
Overall, we’ve definitely had a positive experience living at BMY. We’ve had no desire to leave in two years and highly recommend this development to anyone looking to move to Bristol.

The area is still under development so I think there is a lot to look forward to regarding recreation in the immediate vicinity in the coming years. I would love to see greater variety in grocery shops, restaurants, venues and entertainment, however the close proximity to Bristol Temple Meads, Broadmead and the City Centre don’t make this a huge problem. This area is up and coming, so I think there are a lot of positives to living in this location.

Great for people who prefer a modern apartment
I enjoy the highly modern apartment and facilities. The sharing space such as gyms are greatly managed. For those who work from home it’s also a good choice, with the very nice public working space.
The apartment does well in keeping warm and reducing noises. I live at 8th floor. Overall it’s very quite and warm

We loved living in Box Makers Yard!
We really loved living here. The flats are well built and more than spacious enough with great facilities too. All the concierge team were lovely and helpful, which made a big difference too and helped create a sense of community. The only real complaint is the bin chutes barely work and the bins you get are tiny so you spend your entire time going to the bin store. Other than that, it’s great and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a flat in Bristol

Good location near to everything but tucked away enough to be quiet. Temple Meads on the doorstep is great and usually lots of scooters outside too. Parking is terrible but that can’t really be helped.

When viewing, we were told that we could choose our energy provider. This isn’t true so be warned of that. Also, the standard wifi package wasn’t great in the evenings when everyone is online and gaming so you might need to upgrade it
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Always responded quickly to fix things when needed.
I’m glad to live here
BMY is well designed. Its very modern and homey. The apartments are fully furnished with high quality furniture and facilitated by high-tech appliances. It is pet friendly as well and you may find other benefits from living here. However, the only downside would be, its management. It can be quite slow at times but they would resolve your problems as soon as they get into it.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
BMY’s location is quite strategic. Other than its close range to Temple Meads, there are a few bars, restaurants, and cafes around. You can also find Sainsbury Local’s and Mokoko Coffee & Bakery under BMY. The downside, it can be noisy at times because people come around this area sometimes.

They were very quick and very helpful all the times. The reception staff, specially Michale and Hailey were really helpful.
Amazing Location & Helpful Staff
Box Makers is very elegant and the designs all around are very cohesive. The building management staff and FOH are very helpful. Especially, Tomas! Tomas has always helped me whenever I had any inquiries or issues. Additionally, his positive and kind attitude made me feel very welcome when I first moved in and even years later! Whenever I need any help Tomas would not hesitate to go above and beyond, which is why I enjoy living in the building knowing that the FOH are always there to help.

Don’t Look Anywhere Else, Great Place to Live in Bristol!
Design and facilities are a combination of modern and stylish. Very nice and big working/family lounge on the ground floor. It also has a rooftop area on both the Rosewood and Dovetail buildings. Personally, I have lived in the 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom. I can say both are clean, modern, and spacious – beyond my expectations!
The panoramic view (if you get the higher floor flats) is extraordinary, especially in the summer! If you are not, you can also still enjoy through public/private rooftop areas.

Pros: The location is strategically located in the middle of the city. short walk to the convenience store and 10 minutes to the train station, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Parking availability is good, with a choice of private parking space or public parking on the street. Even more, there is a huge Gardiner Haskin parking space that can be used. The community is also great, many social activities are arranged by the property management. People are friendly.
Cons: As the location is central, there are frequent noises coming from construction activities on the street / nearby buildings.
