North East England

North East England is a region of contrasts. Wild, rugged landscapes dominate the north of this corner of England, while the south is more widely populated, with major cities and arable land. In the north of the region, Northumberland sits on the border with Scotland. It’s the least populated ceremonial county in England and has a culture closer to the Scottish Lowlands than England. To the south, the local identity is shaped by the cities: Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham and Sunderland, along with key towns such as Middlesbrough, Gateshead and Darlington.

Great building but not the best location

This is great place to live but The area is quite dodgy. I don’t feel too safe to walk alone when it’s dark despite The fact that it’s close to police station. Getting to The place where I live feels unsafe if you walk if it’s dark. It is also quite noisy as it is close to metro and train service and you can hear both very often. The distance to the city centre is not the worst and it is nice that it’s close to the river.

Please review your development:

The developmental where I live has cool and modern design and I can’t complain about that at all. This applies to all facilities whether it is reception, common spaces or inside The flats. You’ve got everything that you need here (gym, parcel collection service, coworking and common spaces) and that is great. Building and property management is also great. All staff are friendly and it is overall just fabulous.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I guess The fact that it gets quite cold in here because it is close to the river and because of the large windows. You would also think that maybe this would be built in a way that you can’t hear so much noise but it’s not like that. Also because the windows are so large and everywhere, other people can basically see everything that you do unless you put curtains down.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, they did and the service is great so I don’t have anything bad to say.

Could be a more local shop , but we have tried surrounding restaurants and they are great. No traffic noise

Please review your development:

Clean spacious and quiet residence in such a good location. Main range has been dealt with as we have needed it. I use the gym and it’s small but effective. Always security so the building always feels safe and secure. Not a lot of noise past eleven !

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Location of amenities eg shops / viewing could have been reserved in a better way

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes within the next working day / toilet needed fixing and was fast to respond

It’s a very quiet area and not much goes on parking is always available and the bins get emptied right on schedule

Please review your development:

I like the design of the house, the open plan makes it feel bigger and more free however makes for an awkward discussion on where is best to place furniture in the living area but it’s a very sturdy house and everything is In good working conditions.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew that the house attracted woodlice as we keep finding them everywhere

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building manager hasn’t responded to our raised issues

The development on the whole is great, what they have done with the whole area is fantastic the look and finish of all the properties and the surrounding area is a great use of what was a run down part of the town!
The houses are easy to warm especially during these colder nights now, and very energy efficient

Nothing everything was explained perfectly, the area is easy to access and the properties are in such good condition that everything is so straight forward

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
