North East England

North East England is a region of contrasts. Wild, rugged landscapes dominate the north of this corner of England, while the south is more widely populated, with major cities and arable land. In the north of the region, Northumberland sits on the border with Scotland. It’s the least populated ceremonial county in England and has a culture closer to the Scottish Lowlands than England. To the south, the local identity is shaped by the cities: Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham and Sunderland, along with key towns such as Middlesbrough, Gateshead and Darlington.

It is quite far from nearest shop well up a hill, really quiet brilliant location in Newcastle needs better parking availability but enough when it’s not busy

In our development, the design stands out, with each property reflecting thoughtful planning. Ample space but more storage is needed. The inclusion of pet-friendly furniture is commendable. A blend of aesthetics & functionality makes living here pleasant

Amazing location, slightly pricey, flat design could be better given the rental price.

Quiet area despite being centrally located – both station and city centre. Decent bin collections. Clean area.

Please review your development:

Lack of storage space within property, quite a lot of empty space that can be maximised for storage, given the property is advertised as fully furnished. Quality of furniture is average, a bit old. Good facilities available that are taken care of. Efficient management. Lack of lighting within flat especially the bathroom.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Low lighting conditions in the bathroom especially

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Fast and efficient. It was very easy to contact maintenance through the Grainger’s app.

Good location if need to be in town centre, overpriced for what it is, but is a ‘luxury’ apartment build

Nice that is is quiet area away from bustle of town centre but close enough to it to walk into. Next to train station which is convenient

Please review your development:

Overall it can be classed as a luxury build and accommodation. The building is no longer exceptionally new, the design of it to has too big a windows, so it’s too cold in the winter and far too hot in the summer with no aircon. There’s not a lot of storage space, so you will have to purchase your own shelves / storage units. The furniture and finish of the flat is not ‘luxury,’ more, low-end Ikea level and does look used. Amenities are quite good, 24/7 concierge and reasonable gym for beginner – intermediate level user (however you are paying for these facilities within your rent). It’s overpriced for what it is, but if this style of apartments + amenities is what you’re looking for it does the job (as there is only one other apartment complex in Newcastle upon Tyne area of this type).

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If the concierge desk isn’t essential for you, there are much cheaper options in Newcastle.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Keen to not get a bad review, although occasionally unresponsive
