Getting around Liverpool

Liverpool has four main train stops that serve the four key areas of the city centre. These include Lime Street, James Street, Liverpool Central and Moorfields. Services run every 15 minutes from all regional stations into the city. It is therefore easy and quick to get around by public transport to live in Liverpool.

Plaza 1821 is very central and has absolutely stunning views, as well as a restaurant downstairs. The concierge is extremely helpful and just wonderful people overall.

Please review your development:

There’s Moose Coffee downstairs that provides resident discount – super, super useful. Sainbury’s just recently opened literally 1 minute away. The only thing lacking here is an on-site gym, but besides everything is just perfect. The management and concierge is very helpful and very friendly.

There isn’t really anything – I moved in here because of the water view and everything has been even better than expected.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They always reply very promptly and any issues are solved immediately

I love it here, an amazing place to live!

I have no bad aspects to report, this location is perfect. Bars, restaurants and open spaces are all a 2/3 minute walk from the building. It’s a lively city so there’s definitely noise from the streets but if you shut your window you can’t hear anything, never had a problem with the area. If you want a coffee there’s plenty of choice within 2/3 minutes, if you want open space there’s the waterfront which is down the street or there’s the terrace park which is also about 2/3 minutes away.

I love it here!
The rooms are decorated brilliantly, very homely. The building management is the best, Ellie is brilliant manager and deserves a shoutout for how welcoming, and helpful she always is. Honestly, the management and maintenance team are all great. If you’re like me and move to a new city their friendly and going the extra mile approach really helps you settle in. Couldn’t speak high enough for the team here.

That I didn’t need to be so nervous, the entire team here are so welcoming and friendly. Communal area is also really nice and a great place to unwind! There’s free coffee which I only realised recently… oops!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Never had a problem to report and only heard good things from other tenants.

Amazing, modern place to live – perfect location

Super close to the city centre so you have loads of amazing independent cafes, bars and restaurants at your fingertips. 5 minute walk from Moorfields station and only 25 mins from Lime Street. The main street can get busy around rush hour if you need to drive through town, it’s also a bit noisy at night because it’s such a main road for emergency vehicles etc. Prince’s Dock is very quiet and always feels safe. There’s a shared bin room downstairs which never rounds out of space for your rubbish and recycling.

Please review your development:

The flats are really modern with great appliances and some more hi tech elements, though you need to work out how to use them (thermostat via the app etc). The views are obviously stunning. From the front and back of the building it feels private, though if you’re in a balcony flat you obviously do lose privacy from the side windows as there is another high rise next door.
The concierge team are second to none. They are so friendly and respond to everything really quickly, always happy to help.
The lifts do break down occasionally and the car park can get messy with rubbish (because it’s so windy!) but nothing that the property managers can help to be honest.
It’s really handy having the post lockers and the concierge will sign for parcels for you.
I’ve never used the downstairs cafe Moose as it’s super expensive.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Good – how much the concierge/property management will be willing to help you out with, I’ve never felt so lucky as a tenant! Also, the balconies are a suntrap in the summer because of the direction that they face and you get beautiful sunsets in front of your window too.
Bad – because of the building’s location it is very much a wind tunnel down our end of the docks. The flats can get noisy as wind blows through the buildings.
In the middle – the windows do all get cleaned but it’s not very often. The windows and balconies get filthy when it’s bad weather so you tend to have to live with it for a few months at a time.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly. Any requested maintenance has been organised fast and any fixes are usually sorted within a matter of days.

Great place to live ideal for the young professional

Extremely convenient place to live, right by the city centre with loads of shops and places to eat..

Please review your development:

Lovely place to live, perfect for the young working professional like myself, really convenient location and very friendly staff. Great lounge and they also hold unique events. Very nicely designed apartment it’s very modern, plenty of wall plugs and lovely shower and plenty of space for clothes and bathroom stuff

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Order packages so they arrive Mon-Fri when the receptionist is in so there isn’t any issues with delivery.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No problems with the building so far but any questions they respond quickly and professionally. I also needed my door lock replacing which they flagged immediately and fixed so any issues were prevented
