Treat your tastebuds on Chiswick High Road

Most of the action centres on Chiswick High Road, a conga-line of cafés, boutiques and eateries. In fact, Chiswick really earns its stripes when it comes to gastronomy. With Italian delicatessens, posh gastropubs and stylish coffee houses all getting in on the act. The village’s piece de resistance, though, is La Trompette, an elegant European bistro that’s bagged a Michelin star for inventive dishes such as honey-glazed duck and pumpkin and grapefruit sorbet.

Chiswick property

Chiswick’s properties and residents are a varied bunch. Families queue up for the spacious Georgian and Edwardian houses, sought-after schools and plentiful parkland, such as lovely Turnham Green, which leads off the main road. Young professionals love it here, too, thanks to its proximity to Central London and luxe riverfront apartments.

Those who want to be near to the hustle and bustle should check out 500 Chiswick High Road, a sleek development from Redrow Homes. These apartments, penthouses and townhouses put you right in the heart of W4. A great choice if you are looking to buy or rent in Chiswick.

Also close by is Berkeley’s Chiswick Gate – a beautifully-done collection of apartments and townhouses, inspired by the architecture of neighbouring Chiswick House and Gardens. Also, rated as one of the best places to live in Chiswick.

In the middle of the development is one of its most redeeming features: landscaped private gardens designed by Macfarlane + Associates. These formal orchard gardens provide a pleasing focal point along with that all-important outdoor space with a play area for kids to enjoy.” – HomeViews Property Pro on Chiswick Gate

Affordable housing in prime London locations.

Review Date Mar 2022

Fantastic location, short stroll from Chiswick High Road, 10mins to the district and Piccadilly tube lines and Gunnersbury Park also on the doorstep.

Please review your development:

Pocket Living is a really good option for those looking to get on the property ladder. Affordable housing in prime London locations.

Building management could be better – this is run by a company called Haus who have been poor. However they will be replaced as of next year

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Pocket brochure included shared working spaces but these haven’t materialised!

What is the best feature of your home:

Great location and really secure, as a female living in london this was important to me.

Nice location and convenient transportation

Review Date Mar 2022

Generally speaking, it’s quite a good location, there are four tube/overground stations located each direction of the building, all are within 12 minutes walking distance; local supermarket, restaurants and banks are all in walking distance. Friendly neighbors, quiet area. Guess the only annoying thing is that frequently have to wait till the train passing then to catch my metro.

Please review your development:

The design looks really nice, there are two kind of gardens inside of the building as the public area where you can meet other residents; i think the building has been maintained pretty well though sometimes we have different problems like other buildings, the team has fixed them promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Have to wait so often until the train pass to move myself on

What is the best feature of your home:

Pretty good location to enjoy sunshine from morning to the late afternoon

Good and bad aspect for the property

Viewing from flat is exceptional because there is no high building near here. There are three railways close to flat, so you can hear train sounds. Parking slot is limited.

Please review your development:

Lobby is clean because cleaning man/lady works every morning. Each floor is also clean maybe they clean there at least once a week. There is no concierge service, but security box is available for parcel collection. There are two communal spaces and you can play table tennis in there.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It is so noise when the train pass because there are three railways close to flat.

What is the best feature of your home:

Good view and good lighting because there is no high building near here.

Great location with fantastic views of London

Location is great – really near Chiswick business park but also to Chiswick high road. Also it’s so convenient to get to London Heathrow Airport – one tube all the way!

Please review your development:

The two terraces are in my opinion, the best features of this development. From both terraces, one can see the full city skyline. I think the communal lobby area is also great – nice place for residents to gather. I think improvements can for sure e.g. the parcel storage system.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Just wished we could’ve done a proper viewing – I know some buyers were offered the opportunity to view the development, whilst others were rejected. Would’ve been nice for everyone to be given the opportunity to view the development before going through the purchase process.

What is the best feature of your home:

The views of the city is absolutely the best thing about living here.
