Areas to consider

The most desirable postcode is generally considered to be SM2, which includes the Belmont and South Sutton areas. SM1 includes the town centre, as well as pats of The Wrythe, Rosehill, Carshalton and Benhilton. To the west, SM3 includes Cheam and West Sutton.

Heath Drive is a particularly sought-after address in Sutton, offering large detached homes – many with swimming pools or tennis courts. The Landseer Conservation Area is another prime spot, with large and beautiful Edwardian properties on offer for around the £1 million mark.

The St Helier Estate offers more modest and affordable homes in Sutton. Attractive new homes developments are also available close to the station and at the Old Gas Works site.

Amenities and Green Spaces

Sutton’s town centre offers a decent selection of shops, cafes and restaurants that mean locals don’t need to travel further afield too often. Any serious retail therapy will require a trip into more central parts of the capital, but Sutton has a respectable high street. Two shopping centres – Times Square and the Saint Nicolas Centre – include favourites like Primark and New Look.

All the big supermarkets have a presence in Sutton, as well as local versions serving more peripheral areas. A monthly Famer’s Market and a good number of delicatessens offer a wider choice of finer foods and drinks.

Sutton is one of the greenest London boroughs, offering plenty of green spaces. The large Oak Park to the south includes a sport centre, café and even a golf course. In the north west of the Borough you’ll find Beddington Park – beautiful grounds and lake attached to a 16th century manor house.

The area is great; two minutes’ walk to the High Street and everything you need very close by, with excellent transport links into town, a bus ride to the Northern line at Morden, always a way to get home. The only thing Sutton is missing is a theatre.

We absolutely enjoy living in Sutton. Shops, bars, restaurants and open spaces within walking distance. The train station is just round the corner to get into Central London.

This level of transparency and support is something I highly value and would recommend new neighbors to take advantage of by asking anything that comes to mind.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management, especially Jasmine, has consistently demonstrated exceptional responsiveness and diligence in addressing any problems or issues raised. A notable instance was when I reported a missing parcel. Jasmine went above and beyond in her efforts to assist me, dedicating significant time to thoroughly search through the parcel rooms with me. Despite the initial difficulty in locating the parcel, her determination never waned. Remarkably, about half an hour after our search, she followed up with an email to inform me that she had successfully found the parcel. This incident not only highlights her commitment to resolving residents’ issues but also her persistence and excellent communication, ensuring that residents feel supported and valued.

A perfect view out, high class within

The location is great, so close to the station which is brilliantly linked to central and south London, Croydon, Wimbledon and going out to Surrey. Sutton high street itself is a vibrant place which has everything you could need at your doorstep. As someone who grew up locally, I can say that the rest of the borough is okay but there are better areas.

Please review your development:

The apartment itself is lovely, open and of high quality. The communal areas are also clean, smell nice and the bin area is good and kept in good condition. Having the gym and pool table included is a brilliant addition. The design and architecture of the building is great, you would not think you are in Sutton!! Very modern and grand. The only downside is the high price of the apartment, but I understand that you get what you pay for and the quality is so much higher than other properties in the area. However, it is expensive, I cannot deny that. The view from the balcony is a plus point, it is amazing! All over London and beyond.

The events that are organised are mostly on a monthly basis and gives a
real community feel. Approachable team.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There were a couple of nicks around the appartment and someone was sent round immediately to sort them out. They seem to have a maintenence/office team on call pretty much all the time which makes such a difference. Easy to contact with WhatsApp and email and they also don’t mind if you just pop into the office if you have a question which makes them very approachable, so credit to all the team in that regard.

Sutton is a great place to live, everything is done properly, no issues at all. I have very happy with the new area. Only issue is parking for my friends and family

These guys sort problems out so quickly and efficiently with no fuss. Just need to let parking with friends and family for visiting underground. Also more Islamic events would be valued. The staff are nice and friendly and approachable too. I like living here it feels like home

I wish I’d known that insite were the heating suppliers so I could sort heating bill out properly asap
