Charm & sophistication

Stroll Richmond’s leafy streets, and you’ll discover quaint period cottages and townhouses. Some of the most idyllic buildings huddle around Richmond Green; a well-kept grassy expanse which hosts picnics and cricket matches in the summer months. There’s also a great shopping scene here – an upmarket cornucopia of curious antique shops and contemporary art studios, jewellers and clothes boutiques.

New residential development in Richmond

Richmond Park

One of the area’s most visited attractions is Richmond Park, more than 2,000 peaceful acres of meadows, gardens and woodland. This one’s got some impressive accolades; it’s the largest of London’s Royal Parks, a National Nature Reserve, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and also a European Special Area of Conservation. Unsurprisingly then, there’s lots to see here, including ancient trees, herds of deer and talked-about Georgian mansion, Pembroke Lodge.

Richmond Bridge

The pièce de résistance: the Grade I listed bridge, which straddles the Thames and offers spectacular photo opportunities. The water’s edge is a hive of activity; with listed pubs, al fresco wine bars and also fine dining restaurants all sharing space on the riverbank. Most offer sunny terraces perfect for people watching.

Richmond Park

Other draws

Other talking points are the borough’s excellent schools, two theatres, as well as impressive sporting world brags. Twickenham Rugby Stadium and Kempton Park Racecourse, to name just a couple, are within easy reach.

HomeViews reviewer says…
“Great for those who need to commute, as well as being surrounded by beautiful local parks, the Thames Path and the town centre, which has everything you want.”

Love the place is so quite and yet close to the tube and the village

Please review your development:

The only thing I would love to be improved is maybe having an option to install an A/C in the apartment. And keep a closer eye to little details like walls in communal corridors mind need a little love.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I could order in more bulky deliveries but I can see the reason why that wasn’t possible.

Nice area nice people concierge. Quiet and very family friendly

Please review your development:

They have nice concierge, and it’s a nice new Modern flat overall, however sometimes I feel I’m not treated the same as the private tenants, as I am council and pay similar bills to those who are private.

Nothing so far

Please review your development:

Great place to live for a family and young couples with lots of activities around. 24 hour concierge. Nothing to dislike so far. Nice and friendly people, close to the station, next to national archives.

High quality, quiet community (except for the planes). Next to nature which is a plus.

Right under the flight path so planes start around 4:30am in the morning.
Transport is convenient but it could be closer to the tube station.

Please review your development:

Good quality building, 24 hour concierge and quiet, family orientated community. Convenient for SW London and great village vibe.
There will be a medical centre in the development so that will be very convenient. An additional gym would have been appreciated by some residents here.

The time when the planes start in the morning!
