Where do I start?

Upperriverside and the surrounding area really break the mould when it comes to the standard they provide!

We recently moved from Canary Wharf with the hope Greenwich would bring activities and community, and it certainly delivered.

Concierge for all 4 buildings in upper riverside are so helpful and friendly. We’ve been here since July and they’ve helped us every step of the way. Our flat is ultra modern, and as we are the 18th floor, the views of London are breathtaking.

The aftercare team have also helped us with any little requests we have made about the flat & management always take the communities feedback on board.

Our apartment is ultra-modern and perfect for a couple working in central London, as the commute is only 20 minutes to Westminster and 25 to Marleybone – ideal for a stress-free morning commute.

I’ve never been part of such a community where everyone is so happy and ours neighbours are all friends- it’s great!

We also know people that live in the Lighterman and Besserman who regularly enjoy workouts with us and take walks with them to enjoy the many parks in the surrounding area.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

There is so much to do! Our favourite bar has to be Ardoa, their wine and food is incredible. We also love a long walk down the river where there is an ecology park, perfect environment for relaxing on the weekend.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would have liked to have had more knowledge on the services available (The tide). I’m now a member and go frequently, as I joined through a friend.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature has to be the views from our balcony and rooftop terrace.

O2

Building and facilities are beautiful. The running tracks are great, and the clubhouse is perfect for it! The pools are extremely spacious and the steam room and gym are to die for. The concierges are amazing, with a great system in place for postage and parcels.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great area, easy to drive through and in to central london.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i’d known about the group chats.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Better communications and contact with greenwich peninsula.

Good but could be better

I like the area and the communal areas are nice.

The paint job that was done in the flat had cheap paint resulting in irreversible marks appearing on the walls.

I’ve only been here for 3 weeks and I’ll need to repaint the bedroom as the paint was clearly cheap paint. Good branded paint wouldn’t mark as easily.

I wish the cinema room had a HDMI connector too and the pool was warmer.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Wish there was a closer big tescos or a bus stop next to the emirates gondola. That would make getting to Asda easier.

The tescos close by doesnt seem to have much and is more expensive then other tescos. (I.e. cleaning products for £5 for mr muscle whereas comparing to tescos in liverpool street its £2.99

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Paintwork.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

A little slow. Not immediate responses and none of the issues have been resolved yet. However we’re in difficult times during Covid so i understand and hope these will be fixed soon.

Great place to live

The development is very well designed, it is evident every aspects in the flats and other facilities were thought through for the best comfort and living experience of residents. The property management team have always been very diligent in responding to all of our requests, making every day life issues a lot easier to deal with. The facilities are great, always very clean and well-organised. One suggestion I would have for management would be to better organise the bookings for the facilities, particularly the multimedia rooms, in order to increase availability so all residents can enjoy them.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Living by the river and having green spaces around us is amazing. At the same time there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops very close by, and of course the Jubilee line and short travel times to Canary Wharf and Central London are ideal.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had seen the lovely walking circuit around the peninsula by the river. It is one of the great assets of the area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, in several occasions, including more recently our ventilation system was faulty. Despite the inevitable delays related to the pandemic, the system was fixed.

Living in Upperside – A great experience turned into a home

The development is really great, i have had a wonderful 8 months so far and looking forward to the future here. The buildings are cleaned well and are very pleasant to look at. The styling is really well done and the amenities are everything that you need. I feel that i actually get my service charge worth out of the items on offer within the 5 buildings which is really great. The flats themselves are well equipped and have incredible appliances. We have had no issues so far and dont expect there to be any issues going forward. The after sale care has been really good and better than every other after sales service i have ever received.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Really like living in North Greenwich, the only downside is parking availability as this is very limited. The spots are relatively expensive to rent on a monthly basis. The only thing i would like to see is more parking spots at a cheaper rate than 200 pounds pm.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Baring the paint point above the only thing i wish i knew was the wind in this area. It would not of stopped me from buying here just the wind does get crazy sometimes (would style the outside furniture slightly differently)

What is the best feature of your home:

Love the building style and modern look inside! The amenities are amazing as well.
