The design of the building is modern and clean, it has high end furnishings but doesn’t comprimise on comfort and space. There are plants and mirrored furniture that give the feeling of space and make it truly luxurious. The facilities are something that stood out to me the most, the gym space and equipment and then the full length pool and changing rooms are something you’d see in a high end gym but yet are right on your doorstep.
Property management has been fantastic and attentive, they’ve answered emails and couldn’t have made my move more smooth,

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

No 4 couldn’t be situated in a better location, it’s proximity to the 02 with all the shops and restaurants is incredible, the tube is close by and you can be in Canary Wharf in 5 minutes. The tube is on the jubilee line and has great access to where you need to be. Theres a lovely little haven of a green park close by and is great to take some time out of the hustle and bustle of busy life.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The actual apartment layout. I saw the floor plan but I hadn’t been able to see my apartment itself so was hard to imagine where items would be,

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have always tried their best especially in light of COVID-19 they have done their best and answered questions and sought to reach the most applicable solution

Fantastic facilities but the area needs more shops and supermarkets

Modern design, both furniture and the fit out we’re done to the highest standard. Some minor issues in the beginning, but we’re resolved quickly.

Excellent facilities, with a large gym overlooking the river, and a free coffee machine on the ground floor. There is a cinema too, as well as a large terrace with a bbq area.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great in terms of transport links as North Greenwich tube station is just 5 minutes away. Also, well-connected with the wider road network, making it easy to get to the main motorways.

There is a shortage of good quality shops and convenience stores, with a small Tesco being your only option. But large Waitrose is only a stop away by tube.

Getting a cab from central london will take around 30 minutes.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

About the retail options around the development.

What is the best feature of your home:

Modern design, great views and excellent facilities.

Very aesthetically pleasing place to live

Review Date Jun 2021

The air cooling/ AC is not strong enough to cool down the room. The washing machine and stove are very outdated. Not the greatest. Induction hobs should be introduced. Additionally, storage space in the apartment can be also improved. However, the design is very clean and aesthetically pleasing across all the buildings (although number 4 building’s reception and lift can improve as comparing to the rest of the building it looks the cheapest/student like. Also, the amenities of this building are beyond great.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I would like to see bigger grocery stores and more restaurants (not just chain restaurants). Additionally, more greenery and flowers around. However, the streets are super clean and very peaceful are to live in.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The hob is not induction and AC/air cooling does not actually help a lot to prevent hot days, therefore waste of energy.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are a bit slow. I would want them to be more proactive to solve my problems/issues instead of me chasing them.

Beautifully designed apartments with a few cut corners

Verified Resident
Verified Resident
Review Date Jun 2021

The design and location of the development is great: about 5 minutes from the tube station and each apartment has beautiful furniture and immaculate finishing. There are also a bevvy of amenities, as you can access the receptions, rooftops, and gyms of each building (there are 5 in total). Few drawbacks would be that the building 2 reception is the only one that generally receives and holds parcels (so you will have to leave the building to get these if you don’t live in building 2), and that the apartments don’t have full-fledged air conditioning, but instead have something called comfort cooling, which is just a disappointing feature as it doesn’t host the cooling properties one would expect from such a modern development. Additionally, I question how long the beauty of the apartments will last, as it seems quite prone to smudging and scraping, and without recurring upkeep, the apartments will probably lose much of their glory. This all might have been the result of some attempt in saving costs, which would be a true shame.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area seems lively and vibrant and there is plenty of greenery around. The area, despite the vibrancy and the relatively high amount of skaters, never feels dangerous or anything of the sort, it is just a fun location where people of all cultures come together.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The functionality (or lack thereof) of the comfort cooling system.

What is the best feature of your home:

The aesthetics are quite wonderful, from the design of the flat to the views that are accessed through the floor to ceiling windows, especially considering these are basically double in height of your normal windows.

Apartment 905, Building 4

Verified Resident

Review Date Jun 2021

Overall, excellent, including property management and concierge support.

Excellent facilities across the development, including leisure, meeting and concierge.

Whilst I have a lovely apartment ( 905, Building 4) with a really generous balcony (c900 sq ft) and an excellent river view, it is disappointing that it is north facing and does not have sun , except very early in the morning. Always dull )

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Excellent location to local shops and restaurants, river views and walks, river, transport, including river and tube

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the balcony did not have access to sun!

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

The position of balcony for sun ! Unfortunately, not changeable!

I really liked everything about the facilities in the buildings. The design is very beautiful and relaxing. The staff are very nice and helpful.
The spaces for leisure and work mean that we do not need to leave the premises of the buildings. And the locals are also very nice and friendly.

Great development in a rapidly developing area – maybe too rapidly!

Verified Resident
Verified Resident
Review Date May 2021

The development itself, design-wise is great, though with one issue. Whenever it gets very windy – a common occurrence for this area as it is riverside – the bedroom window emits an irritating noise whenever it is closed. I contacted property management for this, and although they helped locate the source of the problem, I understood it was to do with the design of the building and the weather conditions of the area. Having a more durable architectural solution to deal with this issue would help.

The facilities I have gotten to use so far, mainly the gym and the pool are all great. The weights room at Building 2 does get busier than expected at times and could be slightly more spacious, but the gym equipment is terrific and the floor is fine. The rooftop terrace is beautiful. I like being able to use the tables on the ground floor of each building to work at times, too. I have yet to try the cinema room but like what I have seen of it and look forward to trying it out when we can actually have friends over again!

Otherwise, the design of the building and the homes are state-of-the-art and kept that way. They’re really taken care of well, and with love – it really shows!

Building and property management are great. They always respond promptly to issues and are very willing to help.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The existing restaurants, bars, cafes and open spaces are great. I just wish there was a wider range outside of the O2 shopping mall as well. The supermarkets, however, are inadequate for the area – their products aren’t of great quality and their stock and range are small, as they are small supermarkets. Having a large supermarket with an expansive range of products without having to travel to Charlton or other parts of Greenwich would be very helpful.

As to transport links, no complaints there. Living here is great for that.

Traffic noise hasn’t been terrible but does sometimes exist. Some weekends I can hear car and pedestrian noises around 1-2 am which isn’t great. I do live on the second floor of my building though so I guess that’s inevitable.

Construction noise is a bit of a problem, both regarding noise and visual pollution. Sometimes it gets to the point where I have my headphones on for much of the day as a result.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The shortage of supermarkets within the area. I’ve shopped for groceries more from Charlton or other parts of Greenwich than here!

How crowded the Jubilee line can really be – as good as it is for getting from one end of the city to another…

What is the best feature of your home:

I adore the interior design of my flat, from the open plan kitchen to the living room. It’s both spacious and pleasing to the eyes.

Amazing place to live Central London

Verified Resident

Review Date May 2021

Love the design of the buildings and being able to visit so many communal areas such as the swimming pool, gyms and multiple terraces. Design of buildings are really cool and the views over the Thames are incredible! Couldn’t wish for a better place to live, really.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

We love our local area here at Greenwich Peninsula. There is so much to do in the neighborhood and if feels spacious, safe and exciting to live here. Especially love the beautiful parks nearby.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing specially, really! We’ve had some issues with missing furniture but that was mostly due to Covid. Strict rules and checks to make sure the apartment stays in a perfect condition, which is understandable but does sometimes makes you feel a bit nervous!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

In general good, however I think some responses haven’t always been the friendliest.

Beautiful place to live

Verified Resident

Review Date May 2021

The buildings are beautifully designed, little features have been thought of like the free coffee machine and beautiful plants in receptions.
The facilities are also amazing, the pool & gyms are beautiful, including all the changing areas and communal spaces. Plus the views are just amazing, it makes exercising a lot easier!
Our flat is a one bed, and the design of most of the flat is perfect but I would have included an extra wardrobe in the corridor area, it’s currently a little open space that feels a little redundant.
The property and building management teams are amazing too – always so helpful, smiley and friendly. The staff really take it up to the next level.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I love living at Greenwich Peninsula. The building itself it beautiful, the facilities are amazing. It really feels like living in a hotel! Obviously during lockdown it’s been different but now restaurants are open again the whole area is really getting it’s buzz back, the o2 has a great array of restaurants but it would be lovely if there were a few more independent places right nearby. The area is so well connected though that it’s easy to pop into Greenwich or on the tube to other areas if needed!
Sadly parking in the development is out of price range for me, it would be amazing if this was cheaper and also if there was the ability to park for 24 / 48 hours for guests etc. There’s loads of parking on the whole peninsula but sadly is very expensive per hour.
Bins are collected every day and always lots of space.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The viewing team were so helpful, and the community app is also a really great thing- definitely download straight away!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management have been so helpful. Quick efficient responses.

Hi Maddie, Thank you for your feedback. We are really glad that you are enjoying your home and life on the Peninsula.

Life is good on the peninsula, let’s continue to develop…

I love this modern neighborhood where you feel good. The security teams to participate in this feeling of well-being and we can always count on the members of the office to answer our questions and be present when needed. Again, increasing parking would be a big deal for residents and their guests.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Life is good on the peninsula, in particular thanks to the many stores present in the O2. Bars and restaurants are developing slowly but the closure of Chiquito is a real shame. Fortunately we are all the outdoor spaces are numerous and well equipped. The proximity of the metro and the buses allow you to best serve the peninsula. The increase in free parking on the streets would be ideal to increase the interest of the place.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It is interesting to know that there are many food shops nearby and the delivery is easy. On the other hand, the lack of free parking is an important element to point out.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

I think it would be ideal to bring air conditioning in the summer because even though we are on a peninsula, the temperature is hardly bearable in July and August.

Great place to live

Verified Resident

Review Date May 2021

The development is very well designed, it is evident every aspects in the flats and other facilities were thought through for the best comfort and living experience of residents. The property management team have always been very diligent in responding to all of our requests, making every day life issues a lot easier to deal with. The facilities are great, always very clean and well-organised. One suggestion I would have for management would be to better organise the bookings for the facilities, particularly the multimedia rooms, in order to increase availability so all residents can enjoy them.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Living by the river and having green spaces around us is amazing. At the same time there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops very close by, and of course the Jubilee line and short travel times to Canary Wharf and Central London are ideal.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had seen the lovely walking circuit around the peninsula by the river. It is one of the great assets of the area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, in several occasions, including more recently our ventilation system was faulty. Despite the inevitable delays related to the pandemic, the system was fixed.
