Telford Homes developments

HomeViews lists a number of London developments by Telford Homes. Also, lots of these are in East London’s Stratford, and include Icona Point, Unex Tower and Stratford Central. Additionally, these are centrally located high-rises close to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Westfield Stratford City and Stratford Station.

I am renting an apartment on the 18th floor which has high floor to ceilings (over 3m) which is very rare for a new build and gives an amazing sense of space. The concierge staff are all very helpful and friendly.” – Oli100, verified resident at Stratford Central

Telford Homes reviews

Really great development, there’s a residents gym, spacious rooftop, twentyfour hour concierge and underfloor heating. Our apartment is twin aspect with a spacious living area, lots of storage space and a nice balcony. The other residents are very friendly in the common spaces, and respectful with noise when on their balcony’s.” – Kate H, verified resident at The Vibe

Amazing building in zone 2

Review Date Mar 2021

We really like our building 🙂
concierge, rooftops (the views are fantastic – you can see London Eye, the City and Canary Wharf) and gym. Having the garage parking is a big plus!
We bought a 3 bedroom and is extremely comfortable and big for London standards.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The good aspects: location, good community in the building
The bad aspects: no good quality restaurants and cafes/bakeries

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How close walking distant is from Tower bridge

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very fast! Every time we email the company they always reply within a few hours and usually with a solution.

Manager Response

Hello Filipa,
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review.
We are thrilled to hear that you like your building. The views do sound fantastic!
Thank you

4.5/5 – absolutely loving living here!

The development itself is amazing, and really brings to life the Finsbury Park area. The variety of shops/restaurants and soon to be Gym is a massive plus for anyone living here.

The actual buildings and flats are super nice and modern, being probably the nicest place I’ve lived in London.

The concierges are prompt and super nice, really handy when you need your mail etc collected.

One negative for me is the choice of heating/hot water supplier. The costs are absolutely extortionate (even before the price rises) and it costs a bomb to keep the underfloor heating on – makes more sense to use plug in electric heaters.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Finsbury Park is getting better and better with time, with loads of local restaurants now like Coqfighters, Honest Burgers and Petek (my favourite). Living right next to a cinema is also a massive plus, and I can’t wait for the Gymbox to open.

Overall, the area so far has been relatively safe for me, I only tend to wander to the Finsbury Park (actual park) and towards crouch hill areas.

Living right on top of the Victoria and Piccadilly lines is insane, and I can pretty much get anywhere in London with 20-25 mins, which I’ll miss massively once I move away.

As I’m on the 18th floor I don’t really hear much noise, though the actual area around the station is always quite busy.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That you can’t change the heating/electrics providers, as they (heating) is super expensive. Underfloor heating isn’t great and it’s better to use electric heaters.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building manage are rapid and efficient to sort any issues, usually within 48 hours.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL DEVELOPMENT

I occupied the property when it was first available in August 2020. From the minute i had my initial viewing up to this day the customer service and management has been second to none, any issue is dealt with promptly and conveniently.
The overall building design and development is beautiful and has easy access to everything. Literally everything. Living within this development has given me a clear and bright prospective to the future.
Parking could have been easier and there should be more spaces allocated to the apartments rather than the spots being empty as i have been placed on a waiting list and park 10minutes away and walk.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Living within this development gives me a great range of access to local shops supermarkets transport links and also direct access to the A406, A13 and M11. It has plenty of open space for jogging or a day out to walk in the sun

The only downside i could mention is parking is an absolute nightmare for visitors unless you have private parking underground visitors will not be able to park anywhere.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Please have parking sorted out before occupying as it becomes a nightmare. Other than that everything is fantastic.

Great development, professional.

The development is great overall. The concierge team are very helpful and quick to deal with any issues. There’s not many facilities but there is garden in the middle, parking spaces and secure bike locking facilities. The flats are also extremely warm all year round which can be a positive and a negative as heating won’t be needed much during winter. The value of the properties are good but be warned if you have a flat on the river side as a new property has gone up opposite. Flats looking out onto the road will also have to content with new developments going up. Overall the building is well maintained and have no real complaints.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The local area is perfect as it’s near to Stratford Westfield and a 5 minute walk to a large Tesco. Having said that there could be more shops and amenities closer to the flat itself.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that the local area was set for large amounts of building works.

Amazing place to live!

The development is great. There is a 24 hour concierge who are always on hand to help and the staff are very friendly. There is also a nice on site gym for tenants. I really enjoy living here.

I have never encountered any problems with noise etc while living here but I have faith that the conierge staff would deal with this if there are any future issues.

The building itself feels very modern and I love the colour design with lots of balconies of different colours. It is great value for money compared to other developments in the area due to the services included and the demand of the development in general.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The amenities in Stratford are great. There is the big Westfied shopping centre as well as local supermarkets and other convenice stores. The Olympic Park is lovely to walk around for a break from busy London. A good amount of restaurant and cafe options in the area.

Fantastic transport links in the area with options such as Central Line, Jubilee Line, DLR, national rail, TFL rail. Perfectly connected to central London.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how great the ammenities in the area are!
