Very good property

Verified Resident

The property is new and is well managed, not too noisy, only problem is the elevator that often brakes. Even if close to shopping centre stadium and station the area is safe at night and well controlled

Area is nice and property location ensure connection to the transport

Nice place & nice location.

If your looking for a great place in eastern London, this is it. Especially if you are a student looking to study in QMUL. It’s near the uni and its probably the safest place in the east. It’s very close to the station and Westfield which makes its location perfect

New build but with problems

Very good design and architecture and fittings. Poor management company, seem to prefer the developers than tenants. South facings flats are too hot (wrong windows fitted). Serious problems with lifts – there are only two lifts which break down quite often. The views are fantastic.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Stratford developing very well. Newham recycling is rubbish. But the Westfield centre is fab.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Transport is so good.

Great look but issues with window design

Building with great outside and inside look and feel, amazing location and very warm in winter. However it’s also too warm in summer due to the window glass, the lifts break far too often and the windows cause flooding when it rains due to design

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Amazing area, next to the station and to a huge shopping centre

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The rooftop rules and conditions, it’s pretty much useless: it closes often due to weather conditions, also at night even on days with events (fireworks, etc) and all gatherings are forbidden regardless of the level of noise.

Futuristic living in East London’s trendy Stratford

As popularity soared post-2012 London Olympics, lots of stylish residential skyscrapers emerged in the Stratford area. And Unex Tower is one of the best located of them all. True, it doesn’t benefit from a Thames-side setting like the River Heights and Stratford Halo developments. But what Unex Tower lacks in riverfront credentials, it makes up for in rail links, with Stratford International and Stratford Underground just metres from the front door. These are your gateways to thrilling London hubs like Canary Wharf, the City and the West End.

With its winding curves and space age-looking façade, Unex Tower is a true landmark on the Stratford skyline. Inside, expect a sleek and contemporary aesthetic readily associated with Telford Homes. Full-height windows, neutral colour schemes, bathrooms that pair dark wood-look panelling with ceramic tiles – all are unit hallmarks. Mod-cons are top-of-the-range, and include Smeg kitchen appliances, underfloor heating and video entry phone systems. There are one, two and three-bedroom layouts available, and all have an enclosed balcony that doesn’t scrimp on views of the capital. If you need more space to stretch out, head up to the property’s furnished rooftop terrace.

When residents aren’t gazing down on the action, they can easily get amongst it. Unex Tower is easily walkable from the shopping and dining options of Westfield Stratford City, the hip bars and brunch spots in East Village, and the acres and acres of green space at the famous Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Great value, great transport, the ultimate young professional / young family location

Verified Resident

Great value apartment, well laid out with a decent specification especially for the purchase price. Customer service was excellent including the after care service from Telford Homes. The concierge team are brilliant as well, very friendly, bright, interesting people, creating a great impression for the development. Roof terrace in the summer is nice and under utilised. Transport links are unrivalled you can get ‘anywhere’ in 30 mins. The construction did not allow for greats acoustic insulation. Luckily all our neighbors were fairly understanding and kept steps light and noise down.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Westfield on your doorstep as well as the more affordable Stratford Centre, which we used for our regular shop. There is still a lack of independent pubs and restaurants with atmosphere and quality food but when anywhere in central London is literally under 30 mins away it didn’t really matter. Olympic Park is great and maturing nicely, Hackney Wick and the bars and restaurants make for a great night, lunch or breakfast out. Area can be rough around the edges at time and very busy around the station but never had any direct issues. The high street is undergoing investment and transformation this coupled with new two traffic calming system will further benefit the local area. The area also has some amazing nursery, primary and secondary schools.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing, the flat did what it said in the tin, was great value and is likely to further benefit from the surrounding regeneration.
