From start to finish the customer service has been poor

The local area is great and the facilities are good. The issues I have are with the developer, who quite simply do not know or care about their customers. I would not buy from Elan again.

My experience with Elan homes has been poor to say the least. From start to finish the customer service has been poor. I moved into a new home last June, raised numerous snags due to poor workmanship and finish. I am still waiting for the snags to be completed 8 months on. They do not respond in a timely manner and the build quality is poor. I will never buy from this company again and I advise anyone considering buying a new home to think very carefully.

I wish I would have known how poorly the homes are built and how bad the customer service was going to be.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Response has been poor. I am still waiting for snags to be resolved. I am also still finding issues.

Love the area not the developer!

Malvern is a wonderful place to live.people are very friendly and there are some wonderful places to visit. We are lacking in some aspects as we are rural but this is to be expected. Everyone here is very friendly, we have a lot of lovely local businesses to use .

Please review your development:

The design of Malvinha is what first attracted us. The house was designed with family in mind and would be an easy transition (we moved with a 4year old and a 4 month old). You expect issues with new builds but we have been here 2 years and still are having issues which are taking months to be resolved if not years. This development has been here 3+ years and is still not finished! We are still without pavements and have been fobbed off continuously by the site manager. The house is great but still causing issues – we will not buy a new build again! Lioncourt are, as a developer, lax.

How bad Lioncourt are for customer service and even just keeping you informed of works and timescales- constantly told one thing and it’s never right

What is the best feature of your home:

Lot of light and ample sized rooms. Family bathroom is small though for the size of the house and severe lack of storage upstairs

A nice secluded site

Nice secluded site and is very quiet, yet is within walking distance of the local shops and pub. More parking for visitors would have made a difference on the site.

Please review your development:

The design of the houses and the site are very good, the gardens are quite large compared to some other new build sites that we have viewed. More visitor parking would have been beneficial, but the site does benefit from some large open spaces to facility the building of a community.
There have been a number of issues across the site with the standard of plumbing work that has been carried out by the subcontractor.

It would have been nice to have had neighbours living in the surrounding houses to have asked their views.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best thing about the home is the location on the site, it is in one of the quieter parts and nearer large open spaces .

Home on the Hills

It’s a nice spot with the hills at back of you,I moved from Warwick to be near my girlfriend,she is also on the malvinha Court estate.shops of Barnard green is nearby that’s nice,bin collections are very good,neighbours by me are quite nice but there are some drug pushers on the estate which is not very nice and they speed as well,but there is always some to spoil it for you.

Design I think is very nice and facilities are very good,never had a downstairs toilet before which is ideal.had a few issues but they were sorted out so pleased with that,but not everyone was the same.i think overall I was very pleased as I love my home very much and area is lovely.

I was a bit disappointed with garden as the turf has been layed on existing turf and most of it had died off when moving in.I am about to pay to have it all landscaped because of this,so was very disappointed with garden.
