Very central location

Good aspects of living here is definitely the location, it’s so central so you have access to a range of things, bus station and tram stop is a walking distance, the market is literally across the road which I absolutely loveee.

Please review your development:

The design of it is very modern and very mature. The inside is pretty chic. it’s a new build so everything is super clean. The private dining is a great addition to the building, lovely space and reception always looks extremely neat no matter the time of day.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Bit random but the building is literally always cold, like colder than it is outside, not really sure what it is tbh but might be a plus when summer comes I guess.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Had an issue with our internet when we moved in and the support from the onsite team was amazing. We got given a temporary router until they arranged for the technician to get it fixed.

A lovely property, although the immediate environment isn’t the best in terms of proper waste management. Great location aswell, as it’s proximal to basic amenities such as shops of all kinds.

Please review your development:

The property is well structured, with all necessary appliances. Not the best with a storage space as it’s quite small, but it’s serves perfectly in terms of a family home. I also love the idea of having a downstairs toilet, so unique and convenient. Although a standing shower would have been preferred over a bathtub for ease particularly considering people who are bigger in size or taller, but the current appears to be manageable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The type of environment, as Ive observed some level of loitering which makes me feel a bit paranoid when taking a walk. Also the size of the storage space which I find quite small

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven’t exactly had any urgent issues raised but the agency has been generally informative and responsive

The property is very nice and modern and explained very well on website before moving in, Assistance is very fast in helping. The rooms are an understandable size eventhough the 3rd room is abit small, we did expect it. Overall just a very good development

We expected a viewing before moving into the property

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It was very fast just abit long but understandable

Our street is quiet, over looking the river but we do get a lot of groups coming outside. We also have someone letting there dog toilet on our front grass!

There is a lot of police around the area, who also patrol the estate.

We have no issues in our housing estate, but it is a little bit tough when leaving the estate.

Bin collection great, parking great, nice and quiet area!

Transport links are great as so close to town!

Please review your development:

I love our house, it’s really open and very very bright! The white paint does seem to get quite dirty, and if you wipe it the paint does come off slightly! So a wipeable paint would be fantastic!

Property management is hit and miss, sometimes really good other times the issue just gets thrown around! We haven’t had any major issues and we do love our house.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Neither myself or partner are from Doncaster, so don’t know the are. I think we wish we would of googled hexthorpe reputation before 🙈

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Mostly really well, other times the issues gets passed around a lot.

Our garden for example, still floods x

Hi Chlor,

Thank you for your review and very helpful feedback. The structure of the team changed last year so that maintenance is handled by the maintenance team from the offset to reduce any back and forth or passing around, we hope you therefore see a great improvement with this moving forward.
