A great place to call home with some adjustments in terms of expenses

In terms of location, the building is right in the middle of town and within short walking distance to the Moore market and other convenient stores (aldi, ozmens etc).
The building is also within walking distance of the train tram and bus interchange as well as my university. This makes commuting very convenient at no cost.

The negative aspect of living in town is the overcrowding at times. And the expenses as well.

Please review your development:

The building has a very modern design. Very aesthetically appealing. They facilities are accommodating and it gives residents a fresh perspective in renting.
Overall the management is top notch. The bills are not inclusive and that is a shortcoming, I believe making bills inclusive with the rent would be a lot more appealing.
Also, some facilities are still paid for outside the rent. That doesn’t seem fair, I believe the landlord can make this inclusive (eg £20 for private dining and £200/monthly for parking)

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

-i wish I had known how to manage my electricity bill. I was given the impression that since the building had solar panels, the electricity bill will not be a major concern. I find that the bill is actually a concern, and more should be discussed with tenants and potential tenents before hand

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond in a kind manner and help find solutions swiftly.

The area is safe and convenient , with lots of local amenities nearby. Train station very close and quick links into the peaks

Please review your development:

Platform Sheffield is a great place to live with some fantastic features available . The apartments are well maintained and laid out and the staff are friendly and helpful. It would be nice to easily book the private dining room for example, the resident app doesn’t provide a lot

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that the events held are usually during working hours . We were looking forward to meeting friends but it’s not really been possible in these events. The promised facebook group has also not been set up

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Fantastically, as we moved in very early there were teething issues but they were always happy to help

Choosing to live in a Platform Property has many merits, perfectly situated in the heart of the city centre has made trips to bars and restaurants with friends much easier as well has shortened my commute to work drastically.

Please review your development:

The building itself is very well designed and hosts many facilities which make living here very enjoyable. The interior design is fashionable and state of the art, with the interior flats allowing for creativity and customisation once moved in. As well as this the property has a brilliant gym with state of the art equipment as well as a games room.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would recommend choosing a ground floor apartment for easy access to waste bins.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes they responded quickly and have fixed any notified problems.

Lovely cozy little home!

I love how centre it is, as they are surrounded by all the amenities that you need and you are good!

Please review your development:

I love how modern the apartments are. The only downside is that when you get a furnished apartment, they aren’t so much furnished so when you move in you need to go buy extra things to make it more homely. Properly management is good as the staff are so helpful and the design/layout is handy however I would say the walls are a little thin that connect you to the joining flat

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That when you have a furnished apartment, they aren’t as furnished as what you think

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They normally come to us same day within a few hours if we report any issues
