Sheffield is a city full of life! From its historic buildings to the wealth of culture, there are so many things for you to do. It’s also home to some amazing architecture and is one of the most popular places in England for students. Whether you want a small house or an flat with plenty of space, Sheffield has something for everyone.
A great place to call home with some adjustments in terms of expenses
In terms of location, the building is right in the middle of town and within short walking distance to the Moore market and other convenient stores (aldi, ozmens etc).
The building is also within walking distance of the train tram and bus interchange as well as my university. This makes commuting very convenient at no cost.
The negative aspect of living in town is the overcrowding at times. And the expenses as well.
Please review your development:
The building has a very modern design. Very aesthetically appealing. They facilities are accommodating and it gives residents a fresh perspective in renting.
Overall the management is top notch. The bills are not inclusive and that is a shortcoming, I believe making bills inclusive with the rent would be a lot more appealing.
Also, some facilities are still paid for outside the rent. That doesn’t seem fair, I believe the landlord can make this inclusive (eg £20 for private dining and £200/monthly for parking)
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
-i wish I had known how to manage my electricity bill. I was given the impression that since the building had solar panels, the electricity bill will not be a major concern. I find that the bill is actually a concern, and more should be discussed with tenants and potential tenents before hand
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They respond in a kind manner and help find solutions swiftly.
