The Perfect Place to Live

Such an ideal place to live, so many shops around and gyms around here, not too far from the station which is so convenient for people working up London! A lot of places to eat and have a drink as well, especially the pub opposite the building, the mast and rigging.

Please review your development:

The development is perfect. Good car park, bin room has a lot of bins, the event room (roof top) is nice and cozy and good for a gathering.

Also, there is a bike storage for people with bikes that is so convenient so you don’t have to take your bike that’s been getting dirty from outside into your flat.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Hmm, everything is pretty much up to scratch so not too much to worry about.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

So well, they fix the problems so fast! For example, out window wouldn’t open, they came and fixed it the next day.

Good management but some facilities are not the most reliable.

Review Date Oct 2023

Having an Asda and a pub next door is great. The noise during the week isn’t too bad although on a weekend you can hear a bit more, but not too loud to be able to not sleep through, everyone is allowed to have fun. Parking can be a bit of a mess but my own space is always available. Road noise can be a bit loud at times with some louder cars driving past but not much of an issue.

Please review your development:

The design of the building is good but it’s a shame that some people can’t look after their area and can’t pick up their own rubbish. The facilities are good but the washing machines are terrible and ours has broken twice in 4 months. When speaking to the guy repairing ours last time he said it’s quite common for them to break. Some of the paintwork inside the flat is noticeably rushed as there are defects and when looking closer you can see more issue. Building management are very friendly and help wherever they can. More parking inside the secure gate would be ideal and spaces just for motorcycles without charging the full cost that a car would be charged. The cost is quite expensive and would be too much for one person on their own to get a 2 bedroom flat to have a bedroom and an office room if working from home.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Night time viewing to see what the flats are like regarding noise at night time, but it’s hard to have staff working that late.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building manager came up and reviewed issues provided. Some issues were paint related from previous tenants but these have not been repaired after 4 months.

A cosy home by the docks

The greatest advantage of the location is the presence of a large ASDA 100 metres away and a LIDL shop right across the road. Both the locations have ample parking slots. A police station across the road ensures that there is no crime in the area. There is a lot of construction activity going on which can sometimes be noisy but otherwise the quiet is disturbed only by a ship’s horn as she gets in the docks.

Please review your development:

The property is well-constructed although lack of large windows sometimes make the houses too hot in the summers. The furniture, kitchen equipment, electrical equipment etc are all modern and easy to use. The management has also provided detailed manuals to use them and keep them in good shape.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The area still does not have a great broadband coverage. For instance Virgin still does not provide services in this area and EE signal is quite poor.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management has usually been quite responsive. There was an emergency last year and the manager rushed to the apartment late in the evening until she brought the situation under control.

This is very good. I have easy access to local shops.
I don’t hear the traffic noise.its quiet.
There is a great pub/restaurant just across which is really good

Please review your development:

I love my apartment because it is designed to fit my present needs. I love the view!!! It’s calming . The environment is serene despite the fact that it’s located close to the road.
Cleaning our hallways can be worked on though as it is always dirty.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Every base was covered before I moved in.i had adequate information before I moved in

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes they have. I complained about my shower head not working and it’s been worked on presently
