Amazing location and development, just a shame about the parking

Amazing local area with loads of local shops, restaurants and cafes. Only a 20 min walk to the station which is perfect

Please review your development:

Development is lovely and always clean. Resident area is quiet and walls are thick so you cannot hear neighbours. Only complaint of this development would be the parking, you are asked to pay an extra £100 a month to park on site, which I do believe is a fair price considering the surrounding area. However the parking premises are not run very well as residence who pay this premium tend to receive parking fines even if they pay this monthly fee. Definitely something that needs to be improved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The parking is managed by an external company. Not the building management themselves

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Have had no maintenance issues raised. Only issue has been with parking and they cannot help with this as they use an external company

I’d look elsewhere if I were you

Review Date Jan 2024

Management team are very lacklustre. Don’t know who is the overall manager as have never been told. Don’t know who the new maintenance man is as never been told. The fact that they want to let themselves in toy flat to do mandatory checks etc with 1 days notice is not on. Does make me want to leave….

Please review your development:

Getting very tired. Cleaning is very poor at the moment. They clean hallways only if it looks dirty from the lift door. Should be cleaned at least a couple of days a week. The lift does get a very quick wipe over but the internal doors have never been done in nearly a year because you can still see the drip marks from whatever has been splashed up the doors. Management do t seem to handle complaints too well if at all but are very vocal for a pat on the back when they organize an event.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How bad the management team would turn out to be…….. They need to follow their own terms and conditions and rules.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No…. Have had to chase chase and chase more. Terrible service

Lovely home let down by its management and overpriced private car park

Review Date Jan 2024

Peaceful and calm area, car parking too overpriced considering the price of the property £100 per month is a lot to pay

Please review your development:

Management lets it down totally. Team workers are lovely but need more staff to help them, mirror in lift has been smashed since Christmas. Key fobs are temperamental and we are expected to walk around the building to get into your flat which isn’t feasible for some people

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Delays maintaining the building – mirrors smashed in elevator and noted repaired in months

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

poor, if lucky enough to get a response it’s vague

People are nice. Building is average

Verified Resident

Review Date Jan 2024

Only 10 mins walk to town which is great. Disappointing that no communication was given when the quickest route was shut. When the bridge is completed the property will not be worth the money. Parking is incredibly expensive and you get fines for parking in your own space. Neighbors are lovely otherwise. Great that it is so near nature.

Please review your development:

People are nice. Building is average. A lot of mold and damp in communal spaces I.e. bike storage. Pathetic that opening hours of reception are so short – benefits no commuter and should be open at weekends as well. I need to book a day off work to physically speak to someone in reception as it stands. I am also aghast at how frequently water is shut in one of the buildings. Staff are lovely, albeit they seem to have no power over anything that happens. They are very responsive though to emails.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We expected reliable office hours, which now do not exist.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, they have deflected every major concern (parking, opening hours, water) and said they can’t control it.
