We’re giving away another interesting excerpt from our Extended Build to Rent Report – the expanded version of our definitive annual Build to Rent Report available exclusively to HomeViews Partners and HomeViews Pro subscribers on May 9th. Here we use data available to HomeViews Pro subscribers to discover the highest-rated building size among BTR residents. The results are surprisingly conclusive!
Filtering our data in HomeViews Pro
To generate these results, we first set the development location filter to London and the sector filter to Build to Rent. We set the date range to that of the 2023 Build to Rent Report and could then view results split into the unit sizes shown in the legend below.
We also added in the BTR benchmark scores for each of the categories to show the sector averages.

We were surprised to find that one unit size group was highest-rated across all our ratings categories: the 300-400 unit size category. Smaller building sizes also performed well, while the largest unit size grouping of 500+ units attracted the lowest resident ratings.
