Plenty of open spaces…nature reserve and loch. Minutes from Gartcosh train station and motorway. Plenty of parking spaces. Caring, friendly neighbours. Not many amenities locally but new Co-op being built.

Please review your development:

The houses are beautifully designed and well spaced out Each house has the latest design features including solar panels which helps quite a bit with bills.Any snagging difficulties have been followed up but sometimes you have to wait a few weeks. It is a very peaceful place to live.

The design of the house is great

The area is quiet. There is a lack of shops, restaurants, bars etc. it is very close to transport links. The street is quiet with no traffic noise, except the site traffic. As a result the roads on the estate are very bad!

Please review your development:

The design of the house is great. The management of the site seems to be good however trying to get in touch with member of the company for repair work has been a nightmare. We have been in our property almost a year and get passed from pillar to post trying to arrange for work to be carried out in our property. It is so upsetting as our dream home isn’t what we envisioned with repairs needing done.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

No bars/restaurants within walking distance but fine if you have a car. Very good access to motorway, so quick but far enough away that you dont hear it. Parking availability is good, bin collection is good and there has been no anti social behaviour. There is a lot of noise during the day with it being a building site, but not at night.
Good access to places to take the dog a walk.

Please review your development:

We love our house development its good. Good access to our house and driveway. The street surface is not complete though and is very uneven and difficult to drive on. Very noisy during the day, but it is still a building site. We have no had all of our snagging done and not actually spoke to any management for a long while, apparently since we last spoke to someone there have since been 2 changes in management that we were not aware of.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How noisy it would be during the day, I work night shift and sleep during the day and find it very difficult sometimes with the noise.

What is the best feature of your home:

The space, our house is a great size and also have a good sized front and back garden, for a new build it’s great because a lot of them don’t have good sized gardens.

Nice looking place

Very good selection of independent shops and pubs. Though a larger supermarket in Biggar would be nice. Zero anti social behaviour. Bin collection very good.

Please review your development:

Design of the development is generally excellent. Good amount of variation in house design on each street which adds to the character, rather than rows of houses that look identical. Requires a quarterly factoring fee for maintenance of common areas. This service is generally ok but not brilliant.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Consider what direction your garden faces if you want to get the sun. Mine is south west so lots of sunlight which is treating summer. Would not like to have north facing.

What is the best feature of your home:

Kitchen diner looks great and is a great hub of the house.
