My short term stay at the Quarters, Watford was fantastic! The location is ideal being right next to Watford Junction station and providing a direct 20 minute train to London Euston! It took me 5 minutes to walk to Watford High Street which has plenty of restaurants and the amazing Atria shopping centre! With only a 10 minute drive to my workplace, this place couldn’t have been more convenient for me. There is also a large Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Lidl and Tesco Superstore nearby! The accommodation provided undercover parking at an extra cost, with spaces always available. I never heard any traffic as the property is situated on a quiet road.

Please review your development:

The design and layout of my room was great. The en-suite was very modern with a spacious shower, and there was plenty of storage space in the wardrobe and under the bed. The blinds were blackout, making it suitable for sleeping when I had night shifts! It was a lovely cosy room and felt extremely homely. The kitchenette was suitable for meal prepping, with kitchen utensils, microwave, toaster and kettle provided!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The WiFi was only temporary access and you had to sign in again every 2 hours. I would upgrade to premium wifi especially if you work from home.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Jamie is such an asset to the site. He is extremely hardworking, approachable and friendly, dealing with any maintenance issues immediately. He spent an entire day putting a new bed in for me and renovating the kitchenette which I am very grateful for. I always enjoy a good chat with him and he always puts a smile on my face! The company are lucky to have him!

I can not complain at all. I loved to be there.
You can find everything in the town, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, 15 minutes from the town is a beautiful park.

Please review your development:

The rooms are modernly furnished. I think a small disadvantage is that you have to pay for washing and drying the laundry, but in the end, it’s not a big deal and it won’t ruin anyone. The staff and management are amazing, there is always someone to help you and the localisation of the building is perfect. The bus station and train station are like 6 minutes away. The restaurant is in the building, which is cool.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is nothing I didn’t know. Everything was well said to me before I moved there. Maybe the fire alarm was a bit disturbing sometimes.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Management has been always helpful and when I had a problem, it was always solved very quickly and with understanding.

The location is fantastic as you are a short walk from Watford Junction Station which gives you direct access to London and surrounding areas. Watford High Street is also a short walk away which has all the relevant shops, pubs, and restaurants. Cassiobury Park is very close and is lovely for getting in a walk and fresh air. There is ample secure parking. There are bins for rubbish and recycling that are cleared regularly.

Please review your development:

The building is kept very clean and I felt very secure and safe. Everyone in the building/property management team were kind and responsive to any requests I had. Having Cloud 7 on the ground floor was convenient for ordering food. All of the tenants were quiet and respectful.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everything was really good. It was just a bit expensive for me in the end.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The landlord was very responsive to any questions/concerns that I had.

Dear Jessica,
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
We do try our best to keep the room rates affordable, with the private rooms being inclusive bills, we still hope most will find us good value especially on short terms.
Happy to see the team were responsive and amenities were convenient too.
Best regards,
The Quarters Team
