Howden has lots of bars and tea rooms to visit, bus routes are available in the town approx a 10 minute walk from our home
As is the local school, doctors, dentist shops
Living on our street is lovely, no anti social behaviour or traffic noise

Please review your development:

We love our house, except the small shower in the en suite and not full size bath in bathroom (loads of space so not sure why)
Not a great deal of facilities, a park has recently been put in near the housing assosioation houses and attracts such people

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How close the houses behind would when built and may block out sunlight

What is the best feature of your home:

Large kitchen, open large hall and bay window in living room also size of all bedrooms is fab

Howden is a thriving community and I believe the new housing developments are good additions to Howden. There are fantastic bars, pubs, restaurants and other facilities (small supermarkets, schools etc). The infrastructure however is starting to fail, there are too many cars for the small roads, and the dentist has a 4 year waiting list. Parking is ok but only because we have a drive. If we didn’t have a driveway we would struggle.

Please review your development:

Our development is a lovely community. There is due to be a playground built which will be great for the children who live on the estate. Jade in the sales office has been fab, and I’ve only heard good things about her. Our house has had quite a few snags which we let the customer service team know about and in time they get round to sorting them.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The list of snags will be never ending! But they get sorted, slowly but surely.

What is the best feature of your home:

I love the spacious showers, and also really like the privacy of the garden.

Kingswood is a very upcoming area – lots of shops and good for transport links – decent schools too here

Please review your development:

we bought new build for the first time – we were hoping that the delivery of our new home would be smooth and stress free. Persona sales promised us everything would be great with Aftercare being excellent – how we were mis-sold that one!! Wish we had never bought from Persona.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That they lied to us about how we would be looked after – terrible service.

What is the best feature of your home:

None- the whole experience has been soured by terrible aftercare.

Nice development is a good location

A good choice of local shops nearby as well as Bransholme Centre only being 10 mins away and Holderness Road and Kingswood aren’t much further so overall a pretty good location to be in. Cars parked on the street can still be a problem from time to time but I think that’s the same in a lot of places and it’s never been that much of an issue around here

Please review your development:

After being here a few years I still really like the design of my house and the size of the rooms. The development is really starting to expand now all the current houses are sold. I’m out of my two year warrant period with Lovells but since all the original snagging was sorted I’ve not really had any problems with the house since

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known about the childrens home before I bought as it was never on any of the origianal plans and Lovells failed to make any buyers aware of it

What is the best feature of your home:

The size of the rooms and the overall layout of the property
