Great location, close walk to Ashley cross and Poole town centre. Poole park is a short distance away with lots of activities available. Living on the busy roundabout does mean it’s particularly noisy & law courts can be busy during the day. Parking isn’t an issue for us as lots of options on local roads & a permit for inside our flats car park.

Please review your development:

Great design and quality. Apartment finished to a great standard and facilities great. Everything is easy to use & all up to date. Communal areas finished to a high standard and provide a great place to relax (Roof terrace). Property management communication is great but not the quickest with getting things fixed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking permits for roads not available for our property. Service charge cost and frequency.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes all issues quickly sorted at the beginning with our snag list. Property management communicates with residents well but is a little slow to get things fixed. E.g. Bin storage door not working.

Great flat, poor management

The flat itself is spot on and a great location for me. All of the people in block I’ve met have been really nice and the roof terrace….wow

Please review your development:

In the year I’ve been here I’ve had no major issues with the flat. The biggest issues have been from the property management, with issues ranging from unclear/wrong fees, poor communication and 9 months to put in any kind of parking control, which was causing some issue until it came in

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

What the actual maintenance fees were it seems there were some miscommunication between developer and company giving some fairly serious differences between estimates and actual costs

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Firstport have been poor, it took them well over 8 months and constant emails and calls to resolve issue in regards to fees

The Ashley cross region with its full range of bars and restaurants is only about a seven minute walk from the apartment block. Poole Park is about a two minute walk which is excellent for going for a run or long walk.

Please review your development:

The building is ideally located and the overall design is ok however I think they missed a trick in not putting balconies on the main block. The interior design is fantastic and the bathroom and kitchen have finished to a high standard. The less said about the property management the better !!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I had known the lifts would be so slow between floors and the parking situation is ridiculous

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have reacted very slowly and it’s only now after a year they seem to getting their act together

Value for money.

Review Date Sep 2022

I love the quietness of this area. I used to live in Bournemouth town centre and the difference is massive. I just love it.

Please review your development:

In general, it is really good and it is what we were expecting. I couple of things that I do not entirely like are the lifts (they are extremely slow) and the stairs leading to the storage units: they are really uncomfortable to walk.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known my real move in date sooner. It was kind of a mystery at the time.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They took too long to sort the parking lot situation but in the end, they did it and now it is great.
