Disappointed

Review Date Jun 2022

We love the area millers have built our home, great school on site and farm shop/cafe. The house we do live but the Quality of build and the finishes are very poor. Been in out home for 2 1/2 years and still have on going issues. Also a massive issue we have is park at the front of the school unfinished/unsafe. The road (redbourne lane) is 40 and the road leading in to the estate starflower way is 30. Still have lots of construction lorry’s coming up
And down on site with this and school traffic it’s unsafe and a night mare. Also 300 hundred yards up the road (radboune) it’s a 60mph. Most cats do not slow down

Please review your development:

The site is not well looked after, out road the block pavements are uneven a tripping hazard. The park now has a bin but does not get emptied. The management for the property had been very poor and disappoing. You are told one thing then it does not get followed up. Takes a long time up here back from any emails.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We wished we had a professional to do our snag list

What is the best feature of your home:

The location is brilliant for us and it’s handy having the school build on site

There is no local shop go surgery or post office but fingers crossed will be built in the near future. I love my house and the community. No problems with neighbors and no traffic.

Please review your development:

The development is lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Property management takes time but I’ve personally had no problems. It is understandable due to COVID but hopefully will get better. I plan to stay here for a very long time thank you

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how difficult it would be to get a take away delivered. There are 3 streets close together and they get confused

What is the best feature of your home:

I love the size of the rooms and the storage available. I also love the garden.

I feel like I’ve really settled i to the area now. I love how it’s only walking distance from, town, the train station and Pridepark and think the local business and business owners are superb.

Please review your development:

The building management company are very hard to get a hold of. They often hang up on you and require constant reminders of on going jobs. All the work men have been brilliant when doing the work and have all been on time and often masters of their trade.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think I was made aware of everything when moving in and have not been taken aback by any surprises.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I still have an issue with one of my smoke detectors not working and when calling the building management company it dials for some time and then disconnects.

Very nice development between the station and city centre. Ideal for commuting. I love the square and some of the design features of all the properties. Can’t wait to see what the next phase looks like. The only thing is I wish some of the neighbourhood shops would open and thrive a bit more. A Tesco express or something would make a big difference.
