Brill location jut a little boggy

Set on major road and rail links, walking distance of rail and bus stops. Walking distance to shops, bars and leisure facilities

Please review your development:

Overall this is a great development situated in good proximity and major transport links. The only negative is our ground is very soggy, the area is at the bottom/middle of a large hill which seems quite swampy so in the winter/rainy periods in summer the garden gets quite waterlogged

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The area is very boggy so garden isn’t very user friendly when it’s rainy

What is the best feature of your home:

Kitchen is beautiful in this house and it is in a great location

Stonecross – good location, developer could do better

Review Date Dec 2022

Great community, and excellent location. Good local shops, and lots of cafes, restaurants, and pubs.

Please review your development:

The development has a great community and in an excellent location. The house has awkward design features such as a badly designed kitchen with unusable cupboards, and a garden fence which is not straight and of cheap material.

Building management on the estate is nonexistent and the community has had to take to maintaining the flower beds and lawns.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Charles Church the developer is just Persimmon with a nice coat on.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Negatively, whilst accepting that some houses have poor features such as the uneven fence and putting this right, others have been told – tough.

Great homes in a lovely area!

Our nearest shops are approx 1 mile from the persimmon development. Shops are easily accessed by cars. Parking on the development is not great, as not enough allocated spaces for everyone.
We are due to have a bus route that comes through the middle of the site however this still has not been set up as of yet due to houses still being built.
Bin collections appear to be ok.
The area is peaceful and quiet considering how big the development is.

Please review your development:

I feel the development is in a great area with lovely surroundings views and great walks nearby.
The deign aspect of the estate they appear to have the majority of the houses back to front- with parking at the back of most houses meaning you have to walk around the house to access your front door which I think is poor design.
Building management appears to be ok.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We would have purchased all our own flooring as the flooring provided was poor quality.

What is the best feature of your home:

We love our home, great sized rooms within the house with a lovely sized garden!

Its a great location, but not enough parking was provided for the amount of properties

Its the Cumbrian Outback, so its a nice area to live in. Transport links not many, but I drive so thats not really an issue. Lots of speeding inconsiderate drivers, ideally need extra parking places on the development as there isn’t really any visitor space. Theres lots of people with Pets on the estate and due to the inconsiderate speeding drivers many pets have been killed through dangerous driving. Its not even safe at times for Children.

Please review your development:

Its a great location, but not enough parking was provided for the amount of properties. There are places such as the straight on Primrose Drive outside numbers 17-23 where they could have had a layby to provide parking, but instead residents have to park on the road and it can become quite dangerous especially with people living on the corner further down the road deciding to park opposite peoples driveways.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That there would be hardly any measures put in place to limit speeding of inconsiderate drivers, we need more speed bumps or traffic calming measures on the estate.

What is the best feature of your home:

Lots of space on the top floor, two great sized windows allow light in. Lots of possibilities.
