About King’s Cross Central Limited Partnership

King’s Cross Central Limited Partnership (KCCLP) is the single land owner at King’s Cross, home to 67 acres of inspiring businesses, outstanding architecture, destination restaurants and a vibrant cultural scene. The area’s industrial past has inspired the 50 new and repurposed buildings; the public spaces between them are a mix of parks, streets, squares, and gardens, with Granary Square and its iconic fountains as a heart.

The area is being transformed with new homes, shops, offices, galleries, bars, restaurants, schools, as well as a university. The partnership is made up of Argent, a UK based property developer and Hermes Investment Management alongside AustralianSuper, Australia’s biggest superannuation/pension fund.

King’s Cross (KCCLP) reviews

“I love living in the Plimsoll building the area is fantastic the views are spectacular and it’s a pleasure to be a resident there. The neighbours are wonderful and the people that live in the building are very welcoming.” – Plimsol, verified resident of the Plimsoll Building

“I love the building and King’s Cross in general. The amenities in the building are top notch. Camden is one of the coolest areas of London at the moment. Loads of restaurants shops etc. The construction is a bit of a nightmare and often poorly communicated but overall I love living here.” – Sarah, verified resident of Gasholders London

The building is cool, looks great, the garden area is fun and the local shops, whilst a random selection, are good to have on your doorstep.

Pretty cool to say we live in an old gasworks – an up & coming area undoubtedly, still got quite a way to go as it can still be quite daunting at night but a lot better than it used to be.
Our landlord is a nightmare but what’s new?!!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Like the local shops, don’t like some of the undesirables at night

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How much of an unreasonable idiot our landlord would be

Great flat in a great area

Staff are all really Polite and helpful with any questions I have. The flat is very modern and has a lovely balcony that lets in plenty of natural light. Being located at Kings Cross, I find it very easy to get around London and around the country. Food in the area is excellent with a lot of choices. Would very much recommend living in this area.

Great area & building

Very nice building with a high standard of fixtures and fittings. Location maybe a bit further from the station that ideal but nice to be overlookig the park rather than on a busy road.
Biggest negative is the service charge which is high given the only “facility” is a 12 hour concierge. Expensive to live here compared to other comparable new builds in London and Argent should investigate other residential managers. Area is superior to most other parts of London though.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Fantastic area with lots of restaurants and bars. Nice that Coal Drops Yard haz lots of non chain shops fo give an individual feel. Argent have done an excellent job in the estate as a whole.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Area is booming and with a big Google building under construction and Facebook moving in shows no signs of slowing down.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Nothing to change with flat or building, just a more reasonable service charge.

Good place to live

Quite a quiet neighbourhood at the moment. Lots of construction sites around at the moment so one does need to be careful when walking around, especially when it’s very windy, which is one of the problems of living here. Very convenient Waitrose close by, as well as Coal drops Yard which should start having pretty good shops in the near future.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

+: Convenient Waitrose, good restaurants close by like Kimchee
+: Very close to the tube
-: High wind speeds

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

High wind speeds can sometimes be a problem, but actually it was mostly as expected
