Outstanding place to live

Living at The Point has been the most homely place I have ever rented. The staff are incredible and make it feel like the residents live within a lovely community. They go out of their way to ensure you are okay and are always engaging with us virtually and running competitions to keep things fun. The facilities are very modern and accessible. The gym has been a saviour for myself- being able to wake up and pop to the gym is life changing. All communal spaces are very stylish and cosy. All my documents throughout the process of renting this property have been handled professionally and with confidence. If we ever have any issues, staff are on site 24/7 to help as best they can. My only criticism, personally, would be for The Point to offer some kind of resident parking as having a car isn’t convenient due to the location. The apartments are on the pricier side but it is totally made up from the security, staff and quality of the rooms.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The location of The Point is second to none, living right on the doorstep of most bars, restaurants and high street shops- you’ll never need a taxi home again. The area feels very safe and is quiet at night time. Bus stops are literally on the door step of The Point which is ideal to get around the city. Being in the centre of town, it is very much within walking distance of Aberdeen University and the hospital campus- that’s what sold this location for me.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Something you won’t find out until you move in is the move in day. The staff were so accommodating by helping me carry my things to my room and I was welcomed by a lovely card and bottle of Prosecco. They ensured a fully detailed tour and answered any questions and even followed up a few days later to make sure everything was working fine and well.

What is the best feature of your home:

The quality of the rooms are very good. The mattress alone guarantees you a good nights sleep. I have managed to make my studio very homely and I love it.

Very good facilities including a gym, mail and parcel room.

Very good facilities including a gym, mail and parcel room. Studio apartment well laid out, with living space and bedroom separated by a wall. Kitchen comes with washer/dryer, fridge with small freezer shelf and plenty of storage. Management is fantastic at sorting any problems and always easily reached. Reception staff are welcoming but not as knowledgeable about the development as management and often have to get back to you with a response to queries after they have spoken to their senior staff. Overall a great property, with pet friendly floors available, all with large balconies overlooking the city.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Very good access to city, shops and transport. 5 minute walk to New Street Station, slightly less to a Sainsburys Local and slightly further to a Tesco Metro. All shops/restaurants in the city centre are easily accessible on foot and the canal is easily reached within 5 minutes walk in the direction away from New Street.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

More information from the landlord about setting up bills would have been appreciated.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Perhaps having central heating as electric heaters drive up the electricity bills. Also having door locks that conform to British Standard as many contents insurance companies require this and these properties do not have them.

Top choice building in City Center

the building is nicely designed & carefully being taken care of with the management team. very professional, friendly & supportive management team is one the most outstanding elements of this building.
you can enjoy the gym, the lobby area, the club room & also the interesting 7 fun events being held by the building.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

the location is very convenient, being close to new street giving you the opportunity to have access to train station, shopping center & variety of restaurant & bars just with a 10-minute walk from your home

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

there are only 2 lifts in the building which considering the number of floors could have been more but it wouldn’t be stopping me to rent the apartment.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

the management have always been very supportive & helpful. any issue can be addressed through the webpage or in person with the team & they are always available to take immediate action. very professional & amazing team. Mr. Kishor Tahiliani (City Operation Manager) & the rest of the team always make you feel taking care of, respected & like a big family.

Excellent development with transport links and access to shops, bars and restaurants

The development is wonderful – very modern but delightfully so. Flats are spacious and homey, with plenty of comfortable seating. We brought some of our own furniture with us – bookcases etc – and there’s plenty of space to fit these around the existing furniture. Balconies are spacious with good views over the city. Building and facilities management are excellent with queries replied to within good time and maintenance and cleaning done regularly. Parcels are particularly good – stored securely in a central location so they can be collected at any point. Wifi included with rent and bills are reasonably priced.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Good access to local amenities with a Tesco Express c.5 mins away and Morrisons and Aldi both ~20 mins walk. Close to city centre so excellent access to restaurants and transport, and most places are walkable. Also walking distance from Crown Point with more shops and restaurants.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Bills are very reasonably priced but switch suppliers upon moving to ensure maintaining the cheapest prices!

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Not sure there is anything! Perhaps some balcony furniture included – being very nit picky!
