Great place to live!

Verified Resident

Review Date Oct 2021

The staff and managers are brilliant! Always around to answer any questions i’ve had and to assist with finding my parcels.
The application was easy too and when it came to moving in the staff was so helpful and explained how everything works and what procedures was in place such as fire etc, they even helped me move my items in from the heavy rain despite getting wet themselves! They are totally professional and you cant ask for more than that

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

parking is abit of a problem, but then everything is so close to the flat it doesn’t really bother me that much and i’ve found parking closeby so i’m happy.
Again its close to shops and bars etc too, great area, nice and quiet in the evenings which is a bonus considering its a city centre location!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Maybe just how helpful everyone is here, couldn’t ask for more

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No issues at all so far, just a small fridge but not an issue really

Great property in Manchester

Review Date May 2022

I had a great check-in day with Clement. He explained the communal infrastructure of the flat in detail and with a good sense of humour, we had great communication and completely resolved my questions. He showed me aspects of the apartment I didn’t even know I had and walked me through how to use all of the appliances in my apartment. The facilities are great and the staff are friendly. The parcel room is extremely convenient and you get a text when your parcel arrives.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The flat is conveniently located in downtown Manchester. There are many amazing restaurants and pubs in the surrounding area. The flat offers ample parking and is well managed. The nights are quiet and comfortable and there is no need to worry about noise disturbance at all. The bin room is neat and clean and smells fresh.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The staff are always active in helping you with your problems.

Had high expectations which were met and surpassed.

Review Date May 2022

It feels like the staff and building facilities go above and beyond even what they advertise. Very helpful with answering questions and showing you around. The building itself is great quality and has many conviniences such as communal kitchens and social spaces to use. Community events are also held ranging from sports to book clubs etc.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Huge range of shops, bars and restaurants as you’re only 5 mins away from the city centre. Train stations, trams and buses all within short walking distance as well.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The communal areas are very nice and unexpected as I did not know they existed. On house teas, coffees and snacks.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Staff are just a call away from answering any questions or problems you are having. I have not experienced any issues so far.

Great first week at Chapman House

Review Date May 2022

Have been here a week and everything has been great so far. Great welcome by Clement – very friendly and full of jokes, loved it. He also thought to leave us with gifts and cleaning products. Very thoughtful for when you first move in. Everyone is very friendly – so nice to have someone greet you when you leave or come back. Great facilities – co-working space, gym etc. Place was spotless and has been very comfortable so far.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

There are lots of restaurants, pubs, shops etc in the area. Piccadilly Gardens which is central to everything is not too far away. Area feels very safe.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Fridge is small so have to be mindful when buying food. The kitchen is generally quite small.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have not had any problems or issues yet with Chapman House.

Very happy!

Review Date May 2022

Had an incredibly smooth start to our move in to Chapel Wharf, down to the fantastic staff in the lettings office and on-site team. From the first viewing the staff were friendly and attentive, answering all our questions both in person and over the phone. We had regular email updates in the run up to the move making sure we had all of the information we needed in advance. On the day we collected our keys we were greeted by Clement who talked us through the facilities on site (post/parcel process, gym, communal areas, coffee machine etc.) and in our flats (waste/recycling, post, reporting process, WiFi, water/electricity meters, intercom etc). It was such a welcome change to be walked through how everything works in a new space, and Clement was really friendly and answered all our questions. It meant the actual move-in day went really smoothly and we’re super grateful for the welcome introduction to the flat 🙂 the flat itself is great, really spacious and cosy with lots of in-built storage. Really happy so far, and excited to live here!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Really great location, right next to the city centre with excellent transport links. Our flat is quiet, can barely hear any traffic noise or noise from the street. Short term parking/unloading can be arranged via the concierge desk in the main building; other car parks are 5-10 mins walk away for longer parking requirements. Rubbish and recycling bins are located in the ground floor of the block.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Minor thing, there isn’t a towel rail in the bathroom. However this is massively outweighed by all the positives! It may seem trivial, but having the water and electricity meters in the flat is such a welcome change to be able to track energy usage. The flat door doesn’t slam, the lifts are quick and reliable, and the corridor lights stay on so you feel safe when entering/leaving the flat, and the boiler is on a timer.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

24hr concierge team are really friendly and welcoming, and can be contacted in person at the main desk or via the intercom in your flat if needed in an emergency.

A fantastic move in day

Review Date Apr 2022

We had a fantastic move in day with Clement, he was super friendly and helpful and extremely informative during the tour that he took us on. He made everything really easy to understand and his laugh was infectious! The apartments are finished to a very high standard, although the kitchen is a little plain & could definitely be doing with a full fridge freezer. The bedrooms are a fantastic size with beautiful bedroom furniture & a large storage space & the bathrooms are stunning I love the mirrored cabinet especially. Finally I wish there was a rubbish shoot as we are quite high up & that the storage cupboard had a bit more room to store cleaning equipment. A great start to our time in Manchester overall.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I love the fact that the location is perfect for us, it’s a short walking distance to the city centre which makes you feel like you are right in the city centre but because our apartment block is tucked away slightly from the road you don’t hear the hustle & bustle at night.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Bethany took us on a really informative apartment viewing and we knew almost everything before going into securing the rental.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have only moved in yesterday so I can’t comment on this yet but Clement assured us that any issues will be dealt with efficiently.

A great start to our time in Manchester

Review Date Apr 2022

I really like the development, the apartments are some of the best we’ve seen in Manchester. Particularly impressed with bedrooms/bathrooms – wardrobe space is a big plus. Furnished well. The kitchen could definitely benefit from a bigger fridge & ideally you would like a rubbish shoot as we’re on the 15th floor but overall very happy. Great view from apartment. Staff are super friendly & helpful – Clement in particular is an absolute gentleman.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The location is ideal, you are literally a stones throw from so many different shops/cafes/bars/restaurants – everything you need is on your doorstep.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think we knew what to expect from our viewing with Bethany she was very informative.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We’ve only moved in so we haven’t had any problems yet but Clement has assured us they are dealt with efficiently.

Convenient and customer friendly experience

Review Date Apr 2022

I’m in Doodson House. Very nice new building. It’d be better if there was a dishwasher in the flat but it’s great apart from that. Everything is new and handy. Clement who showed me in and gave me a facilities and flat tour was great. Excellent customer service.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Amazing location.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
