Anthology developments

There are many Anthology developments on HomeViews. These include Deptford Foundry, Wembley Parade,  Hale Works and Hoxton Press – all of which pair stylish, modern apartments with top London locations.

HomeViews reviewers have sung the praises of the Anthology team. They regularly comment on the quality of their homes and the first-class service they receive…

I realised right away that Hoxton Press was unique and completely different to what I have seen before (I had been flat hunting for a few months before that and had seen a fair bit of what was out there). I also loved the location as it is right on the doorstep of Shoreditch park and the Regent’s canal while only being 20 mins away from the City. The sales and marketing suite people were professional and extremely helpful.” – Jenny K, verified resident at Hoxton Press

I bought off plan over 2 years ago, throughout that time Anthology have been there every step of the way with me. Everyone has been incredibly helpful, nothing is too big or too small that can’t be dealt with or answered. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, special thanks to Georgia for making everything so easy.” – Farrow, verified resident at Deptford Foundry

Very happy here – a great experience through the whole journey from viewing to moving in

We have recently purchased at Deptford Foundry and are very happy with the flat and the experience we’ve had from the outset. We have found Anthology to have a very strong ethos of how they want to run their company and the experience they want their customers to have. We had an issue with our flat that needed fixing prior to moving in and were really impressed with the transparency and honesty that Anthology showed when dealing with it and the reassurance we got that everything would be perfect before we moved in. The flat itself is beautifully finished to a high spec with great attention to detail.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Deptford is a really great part of town with loads of good independent bars, music venues and restaurants. The development is a short walk from the centre of Deptford and has plenty of green space nearby.

First home, couldn’t be happier.

We’ve had a great experience so far and I’m sure it will continue. Build quality and finish of the development is high, and the pedestrianised central through-way along with the studios in some of the lower floors really makes it feel like its own space.

Building management and concierge service have been good at informing us of things going on with the development, though sometimes forget to update regarding packages being delivered through the web portal.

On the whole, we love our apartment, the development and the area, and are looking forward to seeing it grow as the final few buildings are finished.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great train links into central London. Also a cycle quiet way which is good for a cycle commute. Some great shops and pubs near to the station and along the Deptford Highstreet and more just around the corner in Greenwich, New cross etc, well worth exploring off the beaten track. Lots of green space close by in the form of Greenwich, Deptford and Southwark parks.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing really. We were well informed and all our questions were answered promptly by the Anthology team.

I also loved the location as it is right on the doorstep of Shoreditch park and the Regent’s canal while only being 20 mins away from the City.

I accidentally came across this development. When I organised my viewing it was my fourth viewing on that day. After the first three viewings, which were not that successful, I was absolutely not expecting that I will find my dream first home on that day. The sales and marketing suite people were professional and extremely helpful.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is great. Being so close to both Shoreditch and Islington it’s the best of what London has to offer.

Fab location, great concierge, may need better management

The concierge area is well designed and the concierge staff also gives great service and are quite personable. Things generally feel quite high quality. I’m not a massive fan of the actual building itself as I thought the modernistic look doesn’t blend very well with the surroundings but that’s just personal taste. The corridors feel quite lush with the carpets if not a little too cold, and it might be something that would require quite a bit of maintenance to upkeep throughout the years. Not entirely sure why the apartment numbers don’t reference the floor level as that’s confusing for deliveries. Clixifix is a great way to raise tickets but presently management of this is quite inefficient.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Area is full of potential as it’s right by the wetlands and train station (Victoria line being really convenient), so you get a good mix of nature and accessibility. With all the other newbuilds coming up I’m also expecting more retail and food places to appear in the next year or so!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Plus points: Residents are actually pretty friendly, concierge is very useful. Minus points: the current delivery system (eg not allowing deliveroo up) is a bit of a pain and the snagging fixes are taking quite a while to be resolved.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

As mentioned Clixifix is a good way to raise tickets but presently the whole system seems very inefficient as you’d get someone in to fix one issue each time when you have 14 tickets open and there’s no oversight of the whole process. It’s both inefficient for us and also for the developers / team fixing the issues.
