Anthology Hale Works is an exclusive development in the heart of one of North London’s most diverse communities, Hale Village, North London.

The apartments are delivered to a high specification, including floor to ceiling fridge/freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer and climate control. The finish in the bathroom and kitchen is also sleek, modern and luxurious. The Sky Garden is an excellent feature of the building and provides an outdoor, private space where you can get to know other residents. Although there is not an on-site Gym, there is a “The Gym” directly opposite the development entrance with very affordable membership prices.

Hale Works Apartments are ideally located for young working professionals. The development is less than a 2 minute walk away from Tottenham Hale underground station, the Victoria line connecting you to Oxford Circus within 20 minutes. The wetlands and canal provide a green, open feel to the area with views of the city and Canary Wharf as a backdrop, making for a perfect setting with stunning views from the apartment balconies and the Sky Garden on the 11th floor.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There will be ZipCar facilities in the basement once the development is complete. Great for weekend getaways.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The only issue raised has been a local network outage meaning the Wi-Fi temporarily went down. The management company kept in contact regarding the status of the outage and liaised with the Wi-Fi company to arrange engineers to attend the development.

My partner and I are both first-time buyers and we are really glad we’ve purchased this as our first home. Throughout the process, the Anthology team has been really helpful and friendly. They definitely made the whole property purchase process a lot less stressful for us. I love the interior design and the details on the furnishings which showed the amount of effort the developer has put in – this was one of the reasons we chose this development. I originally worried about the road noise as it’s by a road but with windows closed we could hear nothing from the road. By the night the road is usually quiet and empty which surprisingly forms a really nice view with the greenspace and street lights. The apartment we bought is bigger than we thought (as we bought off-plan we never viewed the property in person) and there are lots of storage space. The building management team has been really nice to us and we’ve had no problem so far.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The building is 2 min away from the station and 5 min away from a retail part which has been more useful than we imagined. We enjoy our daily walk to the nearby wetland/other green space, especially on a sunny day. It would be nice if we have more coffee shops/restaurants in the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think the height of the building, together with the fact that it’s close to the wetlands, forms a wind tunnel around the building.

What is the best feature of your home:

Location is amazing and very convenient. The area has an underground station, a train station, a bus station, a retail park, and some greenspace. We love the design of the property and the nice furnishings. We also like the building management team and they go out of their ways to help us settle.

Unbeatable transport links and a nature reserve on the doorstep – welcome to Hale Works

‘Best-of-both-worlds’ is a phrase you’ll find in lots of developers’ marketing brochures, but Anthology London’s Hale Works really is case in point. This stylish development will be the cherry on top of Hale Village, a multi-phase regeneration project and urban neighbourhood in the heart of Tottenham Hale. Sandwiched between the area’s namesake station and acres of parkland, nature trails and waterways, these new homes will blend top London connections with all the peace and tranquillity of a countryside setting.

The development is set to complete in early 2021, with award-winning architect, Hawkins\Brown, appointed to erect a 32-storey tower comprising of commercial space, studios and one, two and three-bedroom apartments.

The specs look promising. Each unit will have a contemporary, open-plan design, with ivory-washed walls, spotlighting and a mix of neutral carpet and faux-wood flooring. Kitchens will be done out in earthy tones, with sleek handle-less soft-close furniture and top-of-the-range Siemens appliances, while bathrooms will feature porcelain tiling and dark-wood accents. Storage space is set to be ample throughout, and each home has either a private balcony or a Juliet alternative.

With Tottenham Hale’s Underground and National Rail services in such close proximity, Hale Works residents will benefit from direct connections to major shopping, entertainment and business hubs such as Liverpool Street, King’s Cross and Oxford Circus. On weekends, we’d recommend swapping train for bike and exploring the local area’s rural pockets on two wheels. If that doesn’t suit, fear not, as vibrant Tottenham Hale has something to offer all – lip-smacking street food, decent coffee shops and vintage shopping.
