Very bad building management

My apartment it’s very good, I like the design and the furniture. I have a very small balcony but it’s well designed. The view to the river is so perfect. The amenities in this building is just the average could be better. I dislike so much the management people. We have many issues all the time and they are so unhelpful. I decided to live in this building because the price compared to other similar buildings around are higher without differences.

There are many homeless people around and this is a problem and not a good point for the area. Overall, it’s a quite safe area but the last six months I have heard for many people attack.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish to had known that the building management is too bad. They really need to improved it.

Nice views

My flat is a good size and definitely worth the money, we have limited facilities but what we do have (concierge) are very good.
I feel safe in my flat and have never had any issues with my safety.
My favourite feature would have to be the balcony.

I dislike that it can get too hot in the summer I like that I have a nice view of the Thames.

I would like there to be a Closer station and other transport links

The energy levels in the building and insulation are perfect

My flat is very spacious. The energy levels in fhe building amd insulation are perfect . There is not any fence around but the developer told us that it could be one the next months. The cost is too low for this good building. Its good for families and children.

The area is very quite and safe. There is one bus stop outside and a tube station 8 minutes walk away. I think that the area its good but need a redevelopment.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

When i was searching a home 4 years ago I was searching a lot the crime crime and the safety of the area because I have a son and I wanted to know about that. The crime range in this are is too low compared to others.

Great community, well built apartment

The apartment is nice, spacious modern and well built. Good quality materials were used in the apartment. Great floor design with a lot of natural light flooding through. Parking is fine for me but hard to get a visitors permit for parking, so hard to get guests to park.

Barking is a very community based area, with a lot of activities going on for the community. The river running along the development is nice with cafes and shops nearby. Never had trouble living here so I would say reasonably safe.

Building management is very poor I wish I knew about that.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management company is not very great, with long delays to respond and don’t get the job done.
