U+I Group reviews

“Located alongside possibly the most futuristic Morrisons store in the country is 399 Edgware Road, a new mixed-use development by U+1 and designed by award-winning architects Sheppard Robson. Set in the heart of Colindale, North West London, this modern complex comprises five apartment blocks and a collection of townhouses – there are 183 new homes in total, ranging from one to four bedrooms. The seven-acre site was formally derelict and is now home to the residential development, a 40,000 sq ft Morrisons supermarket, and an oriental shopping centre and food hall, with another development and a primary school sitting alongside it. This vibrant new community hub will attract young professionals and families looking for an affordable area of the capital with reasonable transport links into Central London.” – HomeViews Property Pro on 399 Edgware Road

Decent development

My sink was stuck when I moved in which wasn’t ideal but other then that no major problems. The concierge are really nice and approachable as well. The windows don’t open too far but I guess I’m winter that’s not necessary at all. A lot of space for a tv and desks plus a nice kitchen.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Shops and museums and universities quite far

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

The amount of noise, the walls are very thin so you can hear everything from neighbours.

Overall a great place to live and a lovely area!

Design is okay. The wide hallways are great. The windows feel dangerous because they open at waist height. The kitchen surfaces could be a nicer finish. Inside walls need to be thicker. Property management is difficult to get in contact with and takes long periods to deal with issues. We were disappointed to find that there was no window cleaning service for us on the 11th floor (FAR to dangerous to reach and do it ourselves). When property management does arrive to solve problems they are fantastic. Maybe residents also need more guidance on correct bin use?

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Deptford is a great place to live. There are local amenities, bars, pubs, theatres and transport links within easy walking distance. Train and DLR not loud at all. Parking is expensive on the development and put me off bringing my car.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The thickness of the walls.

What is the best feature of your home:

The absolutely incredible and unobstructed views of the whole of London. Not seen a view like it.

Ok but good area

Very thin windows – no double glazing which leads to condensation on the inside of windows. This leads to the room feeling a bit damper at times. Quiet – can’t hesr other flats

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Love the location and being so close to little Venice

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s quite a lot of youths that hang around on the street in the area

Excellent residence, excelent concierge!

My apartment is OK, on the small side. It came furnished which I liked, concierge is excellent with three of them. There’s a common balcony upstairs which has great views of the London skyline. I love it!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

There a lot of restaurants and amenities around the area which I love, but during the weekend it gets very noisy as it’s nexterm to the clubs

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The concierge is excellent far better than I thought!
