Reviews

“I think the team are accommodating and lovely. Very lovely management. If I need something done they respond quickly and get it sorted. It is a little bit expensive in regards to value but not too bad. Overall I am happy.” Verified resident on The Forum

High Spec Secure Development in the Perfect Location!

Review Date Apr 2022

My only reservations about the entire development are regarding the prrice, security gates and parking.

Regarding the price, this development is considerably higher than other developments in the area, I’m aware this is because of the security and concierge service but it is a very steep increase in comparison. Having said that, I do not regret my choice to rent here and it’s been amazing.

The security gates have been temperamental over the last year and on spite of several attempts to fix it, one gate is still not fixed and constantly open. Considering we pay extra for the security I would hope they fo get properly fixed.

The parking has been an issue where there is no guest parking and prior to the front of the building being marked with a loading only sign, shopper’s would often park outside the building and block the entrance to the car park. I feel the management could have handled this better and quicker.

Having said that, the development is also to such a high standard that I have loved living here. Having never lived alone, I assumed I’d be scared or uncomfortable, but the security and finish on the flat has made me feel completely secure and at ease.

Everyone who has been to my flat has absolutely loved every detail and even having engineers come over have always asked questions about it.

Also having the concierge service has been so convenient especially with the number of parcels I have , and not always being home or working from home and not being able to be available all the time to collect them.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

My only reservations about the area is that nothing is open past 6/7pm. There’s nowhere to having dinner in the evenings or anything so you do have to drive out for anything. I think a lot of restaurants in the highstreet would do so well if open later.
I’ve never been to High Wycombe and having moved here into this new location and development, I have never regretted my choice.

Aside from that, I feel the location is absolutely perfect. It’s close to everything you could need such as shops, supermarkets, station, everything. The fact that I rarely need to use my car is so great because everything you could possible need is on your doorstep.

Having a supermarket, coffee shop, park and being close to a station were must haves on my list when looking for a location and in High Wycombe where I am, I have exactly all that and more all in walking distance.

Having worked from home for the last year and now having to go back to the office a few times a week, the commute to the office, while very expensive, is very convenient. I can be in London with 30 minutes which is quicker than a lot of my friends who actually live within London on the outer skirts. My friends are often quite jealous of how quick that is.

All in all, I would not trade the convenience of it all for anything.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Overall, great location, great development, great landlord, and almost no issues whatsoever.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

While I’ve not had many, the management have dealt with any issues immediately. The security gates were one of the main things I’ve had any dealings with and the management were ontop of it. While this is still not entirely fixed, they have been on the case.

Excellent Flats in the Centre of High Wycombe

The development is amazing. The buildings feel very modern, and feel like a very London inspired flat building. The flats feel very high quality and give great light throughout the day. I was a bit worried about the light, being opposite to the Eden building, but it’s been great. We get Sunlight in the morning, which I expect to get better as we go into Summer.
Kitchen is amazing, feels very neat and tidy and easy to keep clean. Reception has been awesome and while I haven’t yet had a coffee down there, I look forward to doing so soon. Only wish would be if there was a Gym handy!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Love being this close to the Eden Centre and High Wycombe train station. I used to walk past the location on my way to Uni 6ish years ago, so I’m loving seeing Wycombe developments and how this is growing the town. The new flats are a great location for all of Central High Wycombe, and have a great link to the motorway and station. I work in London, so proximity to the station was essential.
It can be a bit busy on the road as it’s right next to the Eden Centre car park, but you barely notice it and it makes for great people watching.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Only downside would be that as it’s a very central location and opposite the gym, you can expect people to be able to look in. I would invest in some privacy curtains, so that you can keep the light coming in, and protect your privacy! I was worried they would dampen the light a bit, but not at all.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quick responses, but we haven’t yet had any issues! When we moved in, reception was very friendly and helpful.

Nice clean & new

I love the place its nice inside and everything is clean because its all new. Im happy with my apartment. The only problem is they did not tell us that there is a hotel on the 5th floor and the people are very noisy so we have to complain. Other than this I’m happy the building is very pet friendly so thats good for me.

The best place I ever lived

I live here for 1 year and I could not see myself living somewhere else. It was beyond my expectations when I first moved, considering I lived in London and I have high standards, I am not going to lie.
Besides the gym, the rooftop, the cleanliness and the amazing design of the flats, the staff is TOP.
I work in customer service and I know the difference between being fake and helpful because you get paid and being genuinely nice and polite towards people. And Serena and Zoe are your besties. I also have friends who moved in and these girls always were helpful and friendly.
I just want to renew my contract every year. I would defo continue to recommend Forum to people.

I love this area so much! The best place. Walking distance from the city centre, surrounded by any sorts of shops, barbershops, nails salons, meat market, veggie market, what else could you ask for?! Love it

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would have loved to know about Forum sooner to be honest

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always answered very quickly and got everything sorted out.

Good place to live

The design of the 1 bed flat that I rent is ok, unfortunately I am not a big fan of the wagon type design, but it’s ok. Good size bathroom and general space. The building has good facilities with underground parking, an area at the concierge where you can work, meet people and play pool. Overall a good place to live.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The location is very central with excellent access to all the amenities and just 5 min away from the train station. The development is across the street from the Eden shopping center but is surprisingly quiet. Very good restaurants in the area and also very easy access to M40.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew that the boiler can’t sustain someone taking a bath. If you ran a bath you need to stay in it an hour until the boiler will heat up more hot water.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quick response and quick fix to all the issues we had
