St George developments

You can find out more about St George developments on HomeViews. St George developments listed on the site include sought-after riverfront properties like Imperial Wharf and St George Wharf – The Tower, and centrally located units in up-and-coming areas such as Coindale’s Beaufort Park.

The site is mostly pedestrianised, so it’s great for children. It’s a short walk to the river, past a supermarket, a couple of restaurants and a great pub. I love living here as the flats are high spec and come with high speed internet and airconditioning.” – Laura, verified resident at Imperial Wharf

High end development in a great location

Imperial Wharf is excellently located – just a 5 minute walk to the Kings Road and a little further to Fulham Road. The transport links are great. The overground is just over the road, which takes you one stop across the river to Clapham Junction or up to Shepherds Bush for shopping at Westfield and accsss to the central line. The development itself has a 24 hour concierge with lovely staff as well as a gym. There is an option to buy a pass to the underground parking too. The site is mostly pedestrianised, so it’s great for children. It’s a short walk to the river, past a supermarket, a couple of restaurants and a great pub. I love living here as the flats are high spec and come with high speed internet and airconditioning. I feel that our flat offers good value for money, but when you factor in the additional cost of the parking, I feel that it may be better if you were not a car owner!

Please tell us what you like and/or dislike about this location:
The location is great as it is by the river and has good transport links to the overground, tube and buses, as well as the Thames Clipper. There are a few restaurants nearby but I would love to see more casual restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area, as there are not many places within a 5 minute walk that you can go to relax, especially with children

Please share one thing (or more) that you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I’d have known that the car parking season ticket could not be paid for monthly, only on a 3 month, 6 month or yearly payment, and that the cost rises quite considerably each year

Purposeful design

Building management can be quite sluggish to respond to a lot of things that happen within the area. The design is purposeful and the apartment is wonderfully designed where the space is used well in the layout. The view that I have gives me the best sunset out of the development which I absolutely love.

Security is an issue.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like that it feels quite safe although there is a lot of casual drug taking in the area by people

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Difficult that non residents have no many parking options,

Faultless

I have lived here for 4.5 years and I can highly recommend it. It is easy living as it is like hotel service. It is on the river which is great. It also has great security, very friendly people and a good cultural mix. There is absolutely no noise from neighbours down and up which is unbelievable really. The restaurants and cafes are fabulous and gives a community spirit. The syrian restaurant is amazing.
There is underground parking and good links to London with Imperial wharf station so close. You can get to Gatwick in less than am hour.
Also, every floor has a rubbish shoot so no dealing with rubbish and there is recycling in the carpark.
The concierges great – John is amazing and deal with issues so quickly. Rendall and rittner are great at managing, there are various events all the time, like yoga etc.
There are good river taxi that take you straight Westminster and embankment.
Therea are great gardeners, a super team constantly working. Window cleaners absailing the building frequently.
It sums up London property market really.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Helicopters flying because of heliport across the river which is very loud.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I knew how loud the heliport would be. Can’t hear a phone call with the doors/windows open while a helicopter is landing.

Very nice, family orientated place to live, but too expensive

Very family orientated, safe, convenient for shops, gym, swimming pool, two swimming pools (very clean, can get massages, facials etc), transport links.

Good parks, good shopping.

Developers dictate the TV packages, utilities etc and can be more expensive than you’d expect.

Some problems with utility management, water issues recently.

Pricey to live here, but it is a nice place to live.

Cost of the utilities, and no chance to shop around.
