A great place to live

Property manager is great. The 24 hour concierge team are fantastic. It is a very safe apartment block. Perhaps even the safest of all blocks on the dock. The design is nice but the corridors could do with a lick of paint. I also think all residents should have access to their meters.

The area is very peaceful and quiet. Transport links are not great but it is very close to town. My favourite thing about the area is that Princes Dock is not commercialised. It is residential only and I like that.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would have like to know if I had access to my electricity and water meter and indeed that it electricity was meter operated. I have to walk into the city to purchase electricty on a key

Yes and theybhave responded promptly and efficiently

Great development

fantastic concierge team all very helpful and friendly. Views are great and I rarely hear noise from neighbors. Since the fire alarms have been installed they seem to go off way too regularly. Also avoid Purple Bricks at all costs

Fantastic location close to everything you could ever need.

Just how poor Purple Bricks are as a landlord/Letting agent

The views of the Waterfront, can also see into the centre of town and out to the sea

No.1 Princes Dock

Design aspect is great, we have a corner apartment which provides gorgeous panoramic views of the city and adds lots of natural light to the living space. Bedrooms are slightly on the small side and don’t have a lot of storage but this can be worked with. The facilities are also sufficient, a secure parking space and a concierge.

Very good location for access to shops and to generally get into the town centre.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Cost of bills can be rather expensive for a small flat.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Issues which we have had have been resolved efficiently on most occasions.

9/10 would recommend

The building itself is great, high quality fittings within apartments, well maintained communal areas, helpful, dedicated staff, good soundproofing as far as I can tell- no issues with noise apart from nearby construction and traffic. Living here is good value for money.

Conveniently near to the city centre, within walking distance and pleasant surroundings in princes dock.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew the apartments get so hot on sunny days due to solar gain.

What is the best feature of your home:

It would’ve been the view but two new towers were built in front. So I’d have to say the AEG kitchen appliances.
