Matthew Homes Ltd was established in 1976 and prides itself on building homes in a variety of locations. Matthew Homes range from one bedroom flats ideally suited to first time buyers to five bedroom family homes.
Lovely looking development, spaced and built nicely. Field out front for kids to play outside, shame there’s no park area as it’d be great for it. Any issues are usually resolved rather quickly with the property management team who are very helpful and polite.
Great selection of local shops, access to the motorway and train station. Bad points: Rather busy car parks, no space for visitors and damage to vehicles; even when parked in allocated space outside your own home.
Parking, there’s no place for visitors to park, there used to be a small car park out front by the field in which we told visitors to park but now it’s been removed there’s not much else space to park.
Everything, it’s nice to be in a clean home that’s completely fresh.
This is a brand new development and it is good homes with lot of amenities near by there is few flaws building quality material and dust from site the roads needs to be re done ad there is stagnant water apart from this this is a good house I would recommend

The close is designed well. The roads need resurfacing but that will be done when all the properties are completed. There are service charges on the property however we are not sure what that includes as there isn’t many communal areas. We have heard they are building a pond.
Great location if you can drive, however there are not any bus routes and taxis can be expensive.
The area is lovely and quiet.
The village could do with a convenience store with more options as the post office is only open very short hours.
The area of Balsham has a high flood risk so ensure to get insurance.
We have a good sized garden and bedrooms for a new build property.
Design of the house is good and open space is also good. The development has a mix of housing. Good schools both primary and secondary are within walking distance. The after sales service is very poor and the developer does not want to fix any snagging issues.
The development is at a good location with the city centre being very near and all the major shops available within a distance of couple of miles. Good transport facilities nearby.
I wish I should have checked on the credentials of the developer.
Near to park and plenty of space for parking. Good neighbourhood and ample space for kids to play.
