Perfect place to live!

Well, I can’t really comment yet, as we have not got our management services yet. Until a % of flats are sold, it is a temporary team, which to be honest are rubbish, but when the real one’s are in place (hopefully very soon) I’m sure it will be lovely as landscaping etc, has not been done yet. The flats that I have seen are fine, although be careful of position, as some are dark due to trees surrounding some. Furniture ie white goods, baths, showers etc are high quality and very nice.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I love living in Fleet Mill, in fact I have bought another property to rent out! It’s position is perfect for anybody, as has great links to motorways, towns and cities, fast rail links to London, Reading, Basingstoke, and so many more. Great restaurants and Cafés too. Great dog walking, and very good schools. Most important to me, is Fleet is unique in it’s local community, we all look out for each other, and always helping others. I’ve lived all over the country and always come back to Fleet. It is now my forever home, I’ll never leave Fleet as a town.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Join Fleet people (local FB site) for everything going on. Best GP practice is Brankesome Wood Road.

What is the best feature of your home:

Convenient for pretty much everything. Well built, and lovely people living in Lorica, anyway!

The estate is poorly designed with no street lighting

The estate is poorly designed with no street lighting , which is a danger to safety .
The parking is badly thought out with nothing to say it is private , spaces are not marked out and everyone has to guess where their spaces end. Strangers and tradesmen park in my spaces all the time .
Poor, unhelpful response from housing association regarding parking issues .
Poor house design, have ditch beside my house to allow it to meet regs. Likely to cause damp issues in the future as water just pours into it and it abuts the house .

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great transport links for London . Faversham a lovely area, close to the seaside . Shopping poor. Bin collection good. There is no street lighting on the whole development which is terrible and dangerous to safety . The parking bays are not marked out , there are no signs to says the parking is private . People park in my parking bays all the time . There is minimal traffic noise and neighbours are lovely .

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That there would be no street lighting and parking bays would not be marked in any way . Had I known these things I would not have bought as both cause problems .

What is the best feature of your home:

My neighbours . The area . A nice size .
The plain decor .

Matthew Homes as a developer cannot be recommended

Matthew Homes 4 bed detached is well designed with a spacious kitchen and diner.

The wide hallway is an added bonus. Upstairs is far more transitional layout.

Unfortunately Matthew Homes as a developer cannot be recommended. Their after sales care is shocking and practically non existent with many snags still outstanding 3 years later! Their customer service is appalling.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Very conveniently located to local amenities including the Gloucester Quays, main supermarkets, good schools and easy access to main motorways and commuter routes.

The development has been well planned with a wide road and parking bays for visitors. No anti social behaviour.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Poor customer service from Matthew Homes

What is the best feature of your home:

Kitchen and Diner is open and spacious.

Driveway.

Love living here

My house is designed lovely wouldn’t change a thing any problems we had after moving in was dealt with quickly and effectively.
The houses all look lovely and the majority take good care in keep the development looking nice.
To improve I’d like street lights and a park.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Good location to the motorway have shops nearby and nearest primary school is just across the road.
Parking is ok as I have 2 spaces but there isn’t much for visitors.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That there isn’t a crossing across the a2 to get the children to school. There is a bridge further up but if you have a pram or wheelchair you can’t use it.

What is the best feature of your home:

The layout the bedrooms are massive and I like having the big hallway
