Good choice for living

The design of this building is modern. When I first entered this community, the wharf view is very attractiveness and the whole environment is comfortable and peaceful. Facilities in the room and design are great, suitable for actual living not let you feel like you are living at the hotel. If there has one thing that need to improve, it is property management, the concierge team is responsible but the team responsible for room viewing not very professional.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Overall, the community environment is great. But refers to grocery stores not very convenient, would like to have more grocery options or chain supermarkets, such as Tesco or M&S

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Community activities.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Overall it is quick and proactive, but you need to chase them.

Fantastic flat for young professionals

The flats are designed really well for two young professionals. Most flats have one master and then a spare room, which can be hard when not living as a couple. This building provides two spacious rooms with en-suites which are high end. The 24hr concierge ensures that all parcels are delivered safely and they are always on hand to help when needed. The building management reply fast and will solve any problems normally by the next working day.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Absolutely perfect location, plenty of bars, cafes and supermarkets near by. The marina is only 5 minutes away which is perfect if you want a break from the busy city and have a peaceful walk/run. Parking is limited but provided if you require it at an extra cost in the building.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not much parking, unless you are willing to spend £110 a month. Wish there was more road side parking for when friends and family visit.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They’ve always responded really quickly, sending in people to fix any problems within 24hrs.

Great facilities

The lobby area of the building is very inviting to come back to and the concierge are fantastic with handling parcels – I have never had a parcel go missing since I have lived here. The gym is great and it has been well designed since opening again to allow usage without feeling too close to other people. I have not had any significant maintenance issues since moving in but the one time I encountered an issue, the maintenance team came to help and were incredibly efficient and helpful.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The property is in a great location. It is in short walking distance to the square in Ancoats with lovely independent bars and restaurants and lots of shops. It is also a short walking distance to the Northern Quarter and the Arndale. Piccadilly station and multiple tram stops are within walking distance too which is very convenient. The only element I wish was improved is more green space nearby to enjoy, the parks are small and very close to buildings which is a shame.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The marina area is lovely and has a really nice relaxed feel on the weekends.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have never had any issues that I have needed to raise to Manchester Life.

Modern, excellently situated, spacious.

The communal areas and facilities here are excellent. The lobby to the building is smart, modern and welcoming, the guest lounge area very nicely furnished. The concierges are extremely friendly and helpful. The flat interiors are well laid out, with plenty of power connections and lots of space. Bathrooms are excellent. Design slightly lacking character, but this is the safer approach and allows for tenants to bring their own style in without fear of clashing.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Excellently positioned within ancoats so immediate access to wide range of lovely restaurants, bars, shops, other amenities. Walking distance to Manchester Oxford road, Piccadilly, and victoria stations. Bus and tram unfortunately not very convenient however. Quiet, easy refuse collection.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking is very tricky in the area – if you don’t rent a parking space (expensive) at times it can be very very hard to find anywhere to leave a car for short periods.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have had very minor concerns thus far, and they have responded within reasonable time frame and effictively.
