Great accommodation

The building has a very modern design with a nice communal area. The flats themselves are also modern and spacious. Facilities such as the laundry rooms are great but can get very busy. The gym is nice but very small as expected. Property management is great with reception open all day every day. The system for parcel collection is also good, you never have to worry about your parcel being misplaced or stolen.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

There are some shops nearby such as off-licenses and a retail park around a 15 minute walk away. There’s no bars/restaurants nearby but a few takeaways. Transport links are amazing with bus stops and a tram stop extremely close by. There is also a park across the road. Parking can sometimes be difficult if you want to be right outside the property but never further than a 5 minute walk.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The flat can get very warm even when it is cold outside.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have not raised any issues but the system for reporting any maintenance issues is very easy and efficient.

A great student development

Each apartment has its own kitchen and bathroom which are compact but well designed . Heating and air con can be individually controlled and maintenance issues are fixed promptly. The interiors are spacious and light with adequate WiFi and security doors , mostly the place is lived in by students but is still maintained well.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

These apartments couldn’t be better located; centred between Old Trafford Cricket ground and Old Trafford Stadium, the location is perfect for sports fans . Match days bring some extra traffic and noise but it’s minimal. The tram to Manchester is 200yds away and will take you to the city’s bars and nightlife on 10 mins. Nearby are a good range of shops and eateries .

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Really happy with the apartment. Some noise on match days and with sporting events but its not an issue.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Maintenance issues resolved fast so far , usually within 24 hours

Not great but not bad.

The building is quite nice on the inside. The reception and work/social areas are both quite small but well presented.

My large 1 bedroom apartment is MUCH smaller that how it was presented in photos. I’d class it as a large studio more than anything. Other people in the building paying the same rent have much bigger apartments than mine, its seems to be luck of the draw on which one you get.

The gym is small but usable. It gets quite cramped when more than 3 people are in at a time.

The outside of the building isn’t the most beautiful thing in the world.

The £200 rise in rent next year is extortionate when compared to other options.

The staff are lovely though, I don’t have a bad word to say about them.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

It’s fantastic that there’s bus stops on both sides of the building both going to and from the city centre in about 15 minutes. The building is also about 2 minutes away from Trafford Bar tram station.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The 3rd lift that is “out of order” has been like that for years. It doesn’t seem like it’ll ever be repaired.

This is not the fault of the amazing staff, but the company that manages the building I’d assume.

I’d like to give a lot of praise to Michael, he’s always in a good mood and more than willing to help all residents.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I had an issue with a broken light switch that was resolved very quick, more than happy with this.

The maintaince team (I think they’re brothers) are really nice people, they always do a good job.
