Central location

Quite dated. Got all the facilities I need. Building management respond well it is clean etc. The estate agent doesn’t respond. Value for money is a bit below market. Location was the primary factor for purchase.

2 mins to Piccadilly, 2 mins to university. Great transport links. Shops and restaurants all good.

It is more dated than I realised it would be. But still great location.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Would modernise it a little bit, but fab location.

Great accommodation

The building has a very modern design with a nice communal area. The flats themselves are also modern and spacious. Facilities such as the laundry rooms are great but can get very busy. The gym is nice but very small as expected. Property management is great with reception open all day every day. The system for parcel collection is also good, you never have to worry about your parcel being misplaced or stolen.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

There are some shops nearby such as off-licenses and a retail park around a 15 minute walk away. There’s no bars/restaurants nearby but a few takeaways. Transport links are amazing with bus stops and a tram stop extremely close by. There is also a park across the road. Parking can sometimes be difficult if you want to be right outside the property but never further than a 5 minute walk.

The flat can get very warm even when it is cold outside.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have not raised any issues but the system for reporting any maintenance issues is very easy and efficient.

Great location

I rushed into moving into this building as a last minute decision but was sold by the surrounding facilities as everything i need is within walking distance. The building standards are good and the security does give me peace of mind as living in the city centre can seem daunting initially.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The location is ideal for work and university however it can be busy late at night due to there being a night club at the end of the street.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Although i havent experienced any issues myself, after moving in I was told about a homeless issue of people living in the hallway and also the building has been raided in response to a gang issue which makes me feel less safe.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I asked them when i moved in a month ago for a photo of the meter reading and I still havent received it and they aren’t respondig to further emails.

Good location, poor service

Average service, quite a few security issues, people rent out their apartments for air B and B when it is not allowed in the contract, there was an issue involving the Manchester bomber so it can lead to unsafe situations.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Noise pollution from the club at the end of the street but mainly from people on the street and residents. Close to city centre bars / clubs, good transport links, no need for car.

Amount of service charge wasn’t what I thought it was.

The way it is being run: excuses made to stop planning from happening
