Area is perfect for family and the builders are excellent at their craft.

Materials used for the house is very good. Very thick walls hence very warm inside. A number of the houses have garage, which is of a very good size and then a drive way in front of the garage. The garden is an OK size as well. Not too small, just perfect.

And their price is really good as well, so optimal value for money.

Priors Hall Park is self sustaining, you can live in the park for a whole month and not have a reason to go out of it. (If your work is remote or local)

There is a local sainsbury, coffee shop, new pizza place, salon, and more. Nursery, primary and secondary school all within the park as well. Quite a number of play parks within, so really good with a lot of greens.

Though a short drive to train station, there is a bus stop within the community. Parking is very good as most houses have a personal driveway so street parking is not too busy.

Bin collection is every Thursday, alternating refuse and recycle. And bins are not placed on the street keeping the road clear, people are only to bring them out evening before.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew the local coffee shop only had the well styled pancakes on Saturdsy between 10am and 2pm. I would have enjoyed more of it early on. Anyway, I have started now.

There are other cools things I know about here too, like the open air theatre, women netball team, walking groups, cycling groups on thursdays, but Covid has affected all that. Looking forward to it being better so one can enjoy the community even better. But it’s a really lovely place.

Even with a desire for a bigger house in a year or so, we still are keen to remain in Priors Hall Park.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes they have. Twice. The urgent need met with a prompt same day response and next day resolution.

Very pleased with our home overall

Very pleased with our home overall, the living area and bedrooms are a little on the small side however they are adequate for us (couple and 2 year old), if we were to expand our family then space could become an issue as children get older so we may look to move to a bigger property in a few years – we would however seriously consider another Jelson property. We have had no major issues with our property and when we have Jelson have been quick to respond and repair the issues at the 6 month review. Pleased that the property came with dishwasher/large fridge freezer and flooring which took some of the stress out of moving in! Pleased with the property-management communication has been good with the developers

House located in a village so limited in terms of shops however the nearest town is only 5 minutes drive away so is no problem for us as we drive however I am aware of regular buses into the town. locally there are the essentials e.g 2 connivence stores, couple of take always, 2 pubs and a mechanic. In terms of the street we live it’s nice and quiet in the evenings and weekends which we like, the access to the ongoing development is quite close to us however so can get a bit noisy in the week but it’s not really an issue for us. Bin collections always on the day specified never had any issues

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

For us carpet fitted in the dining area was an issue with a small child, we had put extra tiles down at our own cost – I’ve seen some properties the same that have tiled dining areas as standard but just something to be aware of. Also as the building site entrance is on our street we have a lot of dust and dirt collecting on the front windows and door and this can sometimes get dragged into the hallway especially when it’s raining the hallway carpet is going to need replacing

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Jelson have always been quick to respond, happy with the communication with them

Quality, comfort and peace of mind!

Our Plover is so perfect for us! We have come from older properties and apartments, so this has been a breath of fresh air! We love how well the house is designed; in reality, it doesn’t have an overly large floor space, but the space is designed in such a way that maximizes its potential. The open plan kitchen-diner-living room is unique, we haven’t seen such a large space in a new property of this size. Usually, rooms in new builds are very small and boxy, this is not the case with our property which is one of the reasons we were so happy to move here. Upstairs, the spare bedrooms aren’t the biggest but they work perfectly for us as a guest bedroom/office and as a music room. Also, the fact that the house manages to pack in 3 toilets and 2 showers is amazing, it’s so helpful! The quality of the kitchen units are outstanding and well built. Finishes such as carpet and joinery are of high quality too. Honestly so happy with our Jelson home!

We are so happy living here! We lived in Shepshed some years ago and never thought we would move back, but when seeing this property was available, and in what location in Shepshed it was in, we couldn’t resist returning. The street is so peaceful and quiet, it’s beautiful living so close to Blackbrook and backing straight onto endless fields. Parking is great for ourselves personally and when we have guests; our two designated spaces are very helpful, but also there is plenty of space on the road too. Shepshed itself holds many great conveniences, such as 2 Co-ops, 1 Tesco and 1 Asda. All the takeouts we use regularly are exceptional too, so that’s a bonus! There is a lovely park in the center of Shepshed. Also, having the M1 so close by is amazing for visiting family and friends in Leicester and in other places for us such as Nottingham and Derby. It’s particularly quiet in our location, surprisingly so being not far from the M1. However, I think being on the East side of Shepshed, so close to fields and the furthest away from the Motorway really helps. We feel very safe in this estate, it’s far away from the center of Shepshed and its rougher areas, so we have no worries of anti-social behavior, especially so being right at the end of the cul-de-sac.

Wish we would have known how long it would be taking for pavements and road to be completed.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very well. One of our doors wouldn’t shut properly, so I raised the problem and they got a joiner to come over within. a few days who rectified the issue perfectly. Also, initially upon moving in, there was a minor gas leak simply from something not being tightened as it should, and the plumber ensured it was safe before our first night in the property which was reassuring.

Really nice estate in a great village location…

Our house is a great size, and has a really workable layout. We liked the houses from their design and the fact it felt very up to date from interior wooden doors to stylish tiling choices. Jelson were very helpful when we moved in, supplying a few additional slabs for the garden and allowing us to use their skips for rubbish. Unfortunately when COVID hit the site closed for awhile and the reopening coincided with the last properties being completed. We currently have the workmen completing the pavements and roads, which has been scheduled to be completed in the next 4 weeks. Although it has been frustrating at times this to be expected from a new build estate.
The property management company Warwick Estate isn’t brilliant however get a lot of stick from Jelson not fully handing over the site yet. All new build estates have maintenances companies and I would imagine they are all similar.

Sapcote is a lovely area, with lots of great aspects, there is a real community feel, and amenities are what you would expect of a VILLAGE! Great shop, lovely friendly post office and plenty of pubs on your doorstep. We are also in the central spot for great dog walks in all directions, leading to Stoney Stanton, Croft, Sharnford, Burbage etc.
We love how central it is for all local transport links, within 3 mins you are on the M69 to Leicester, with Fosse Park 10 min drive, you can go through Sharnford to get to M69 to Coventry again not long at all.
All houses on this estate have enough room for parking at least two cars, so never any parking issues and usually really quiet, love sitting in the garden in a summers evening.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Roads, pavements and playground are not going to be forever the way they are, so I would just tell a new neighbour to enjoy their new home and make the most of the local area. You are buying into a village so be realistic a local co-op is much more favoured than a great big shopping complex of a more city location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They were fine to start with however as the builders have left they have had consist delays which is the response to most emails.
