Local shops are small but convenient, not a huge quantity but you wouldn’t expect that from a small village. Good parks and open spaces. Quiet street with no problems.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Repairs are generally quite quick to be carried out.
The “home owners” tend to look down on the housing association tenants and it’s quite divided in that aspect.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The range of local shops is okay, but we could do with a local takeaway or similar! The sainsburys is very expensive compared to other supermarkets but I guess we’re paying for the convenience! Bin collections happen every couple of week, and being near the shops noise from traffic is quite bad. It’s also a nightmare at school times because there is no designated crossing near the shops.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we had known that the flats above the shops were going to be so high, plans changed and they aren’t what we were shown when we purchased our property.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have, most issues are referred to crest as the builders of the property but if they don’t help, green square do chase them up on our behalf!

I feel the area could do with a bit more such as a takeaway shop yum that would be nice

Quite alot crime in the area with parks being set on fire…freaky looking people trying to look in to ur houses

Good area to live in, nice area, shops close by! Parking could be better

Don’t just jump in but pay attention to what you have and whether it’s suitable.
